I wake up next to Bart in a room, everyone else is gone. "What the hell? Where the hell are we?" He gets up looking around. "Why are you grey? Actually no don't answer that. I need to get out of here." He starts running and tries to phase. But the repels his power preventing him from leaving. He tries again, but nothing. "Was this your idea to trap us here so you and I can talk?" I shake my head no then my heart breaks again. "You..." he's pissed "what!?" I start to cry. "You were about to leave me behind" he sneers "you could get out on your own just fine with out me. You're not some helpless girl you have powers so suck it up and figure it out." All I hear is loud bangs and a few swear words from Bart. "DAMMIT, LET ME OUT THIS FUCKING ROOM!!!" I find a fruit basket and decide to eat one of the fruits. Of course the fruit turned grey luckily it kept its flavor. I bite into my second mango when Bart comes back "why are the fruit grey?" I blush "because I'm grey" he looks into my eyes then looks at my tail. He turns his back on me "you want a mango?" He ignores me "you need..." he cuts me off "I will be fine I'm going to sleep, don't bother to wake me." I frown. After eating I lay down in my wolf form on the other side of the room to stay warm.
I wake up to the sound of vibrating. Bart is still using his speed to get out. "Fuck!" He looks at me as I hold out a mango for him "here, even though it's grey it still has its flavor." I roll it to him keeping my distance, I smile when he picks it up. He tosses it in his hand a few times and throws it on the ground. I bite my bottom lip not wanting to cry in front of him. I sit on the other side of the room. I need to stop the fading from spreading and go back to normal so uncle Barry can have his powers back. I find Bart sitting alone "Bart can we talk?" He ignores me "we have nothing to talk about" I groan feeling weak "Rogue?" I step away "no don't touch me or you will lose your powers." He gets up "Rogue what's going on?" The fruit began to rot and basket begins to darken. "Is this your doing?" Tears start to fall. "Please don't touch me" he sighs "you're still keeping secrets from me. I need to get out of here." I sit on the ground watching him waist his energy. He already tried phasing through but instead it repelled him off.
It's been two weeks since we were trapped in the room and the pain of never having Bart again is killing me. Everything is a dark grey and is almost turning black and once it does it completely dies including uncle Barry. "Rogue!" I look at Bart "what is happening?" I tell him everything, but I don't tell him why it's happening. "So in order to save my grandpa you need to be happy again?" I nod "well we need to find why you're sad in the first place. So what's making you like this?" I don't answer "Rogue you have to tell me so I can fix it!"
"You won't fix it, it can't be fixed" he looks at me confused "why is that?" I start crying "because you hate me! You don't want to be with me anymore! I'm a liar and I'm nothing but Lex Luthor's lab experiment." He presses me against the wall. "That's not true, none of that is true! I don't hate you it's actually the opposite. I love you Rogue I always have and I want to be with you. You're not a lab experiment you're the same shy Rogue I've always known and nothing will change that." I look at his arm turning dark grey "you have to let me go I'm killing you!" He smiles "you were always killing me and never knew it." He leans in pressing his lips against mine, our lips move in sync his tongue slipping into my mouth. I hold on to his shirt never wanting to let go, he slightly vibrates a few times and slowly becomes stable. I open my eyes, the colors in everything are coming back brighter than ever. He pulls away smiling and I look into his green ones crying "was the kiss bad?" I shake my head no "then why are you crying?" I tackle him on the ground "because I'm happy!" He kisses me again this time flipping me over so I'm on my back. "Alright you two that's enough! Break it up!" Huh? Bart and I separate blushing. Everything goes dark then a flash of light comes on "what's going on?" The league and my brothers stand there staring at us on the other side of the room. "You we're watching us this whole time?" Bart asked "yea, we needed you two to be friends again or else Barry dies. He almost did no thanks to Bart, but everything is cool now we'll almost since you basically made out with their sister in front of them." Uncle Clark says then Bart smirks "well then we should take this somewhere more private than" he lifts me up and speeds off like he always do. "Where are you taking me?" We stop at the lake at our favorite spot. "So, now that we got our issues out the way. What now?" I shrug. Bart smiles looking at me. "What?" He kiss me again, this time much slower and passionate his mouth opens a bit. My tongue slips into his mouth he pulls me on top of him, moaning as he moves my hips. "Fuck, I have been waiting for this moment since the day I first met you. His hand lands on my butt squeezing it. "Bart!" I say surprised as he chuckles going to my neck.
