Chapter 12

EX's POV
I watched as Sam tried to punch the obsidian that's sorrounding him and and I'm also messing with him.

It took him atleast straight 10 hours to punch the obsidian by hand before it breaks and I just distract him so he loses his progress which annoys him while I find it amusing.

I did told X I'm gonna look after him. But messing with him is fun.

I noticed he is staring at me and I stared back with confusion then he spoke.

"wh... Is greo-" I cut him off "Grian" i corrected as I glared at him "o-oh... OK.. Grian.... Is he your friend?..." he asked.

I didn't answer.

I then heard fireworks just outside the obsidian cell platform we had and I saw doc, iskall, and xisuma.

"how is the bunny boy doing in his prison?" asked doc while having that creepy and intimidating voice.

"take it easy doc, we don't want to scare him" xisuma responded

"not a chance" doc replied "I'm not taking it easy after what he did to Grian" well he does have a point.

I saw xisuma walked over to me as doc opened the cell where Sam was in and iskall tied his arms at the back.

"hey EX.." X started while holding his neck. "what do you want?" I asked.

"thanks for helping out, and for everything" he told me but I didn't reply.

"you can come with us back at the mainland" he offered.

"no thank you, I rather stay away from your so called Hermits" I replied with annoyance in my voice.

"oh..." he replied with a pained and sad expression on his face. But I ignored it.

I know he is my brother, and my family, and I'm gonna admit it hurts me seeing that expression, but I always ignore it. After everything he's done.... I can't forgive him...

" look brother i-" I cut him off "I don't care what your trying to say to me okay!! I don't want to hear anything out from you!!, now leave!!!! Me!!! Alone!!!" I snapped.

X is almost about to cry, even with the helmet on, I can easily tell. "okay..." he said as he walked towards iskall and doc who was pointing a trident on Sam so he won't escape.

"come on guys... Let's go.." X commanded them, iskall looked at me with a confused face and doc stared at me but not too long though, he needs to keep an eye on Sam.

Doc and Xisuma launched their self into the air, while doc carried Sam.

Iskall stayed behind looking at me. But I didn't look at him.

"you know.. It's not nice to yell at your brother like that.." iskall told me but I didn't reply.

He was about to take off then I told him "Pls tell xel I'll be waiting at grian's base" he nodded and launched to the sky with his rockets.

I then started walking towards Grians base. As I am walking I heard xisuma's words from back then when we were still close.

3rd POV

{Flasback}
"is this for me!!!" EX asked with excitement.

"yep!! Happy birthday brother!!!" X cheered.

"thank you I love it!!!" EX said as he placed the locket that X gave him.

"It has our pictures in it!!!" EX exclaimed.

"yep!!" X replied as he hugs his brother.

"thanks you brother" EX thanked his brother.

"your welcome brother" X replied.

"we'll always be a family!!!" EX exclaimed

"yes, no matter what happens the 2 of us will forever be a family, brothers forever? " X assured EX.

"brothers forever!" EX cheered.
{Flashback end}

EX didn't notice the tears that fell off from his eyes while he was walking, and then he stopped.

He then took out an old locket that was given to him by his brother back then, that's hiding inside his armor and opened it, it has a picture of him and X when they were kids, happily smiling.

EX want nothing more but to go back to what it was before, only him and his brother as a family, but he knew that's not gonna happen.

He hid the locket back inside his armor and continued walking to grian's base, trying to forget the pain and memories of him and his brother.

Iskall's POV
Me, Xisuma and doc are flying through the sky towards the mainland of hermitcraft, I cna see Sam is scared of doc because of the aura he's giving plus he's also holding him so he's trying his best not to struggle from doc.

I stared at xisuma and he seems upset, I was in shocked by what happened back there, EX just lost it yelling at his brother like that, but... The look on EX's face...

Even though EX tried to hide it, he is also hurt by what he did to xisuma.

I wonder what happened... I know EX tried to destroy the server once and it leads X to ban him but he then came back, is that why he's so upset??, or is there something else I'm missing here... I was distracted from my thought when X started to speak.

"you guys go ahead... I'll go get something from my base..." he told me and doc.

Doc and I were abiut to protest when he said "don't worry... It won't be long.. I'll follow alright.."

Me and doc looked at each other and just nodded and with that X changed directions.

Then I see doc looked at me "he isn't okay, isn't he?" doc said.

"yeah..." I replied in agreement.

Xisuma's POV
I saw my base when I flew directly into it not caring if I'm gonna crash or not.

I landed inside well.... Crashed but its not that hard.. I stood up and was about to go grab a shulker box filled with materials when  my knees gave in.

I fell on my knees and I'm shaking, then I started crying.

What EX said back at the obsidian prison really did hurt... It's my fault... I just wished things are better between me and my brother...

I was crying soo much that I had to remove my helmet and threw it hard on the side and it cracked.

"im sorry...." I whispered...

"I wish you could forgive me.... Brother... "
