"Whaddya wanna eat for dinner tonight, Gingersnap?"

The ocelot looked up from her mini tree house built inside the fake plant in Edward's apartment. "Hmm...noodles!"

"Yeah? Like...Chinese food?" Edward suggested, licking his lips at the thought.

"Yes!! Chicken with lo mein!"

"Sounds yummy!"

"Oh, and don't forget the egg rolls! And maybe some beef and broccoli and shrimp with rice, too!"

"All that for one little ocelot? Gee, sure sounds like a lot." Edward teased.

"Uh, yeah! I sure am hungry!" Ginger giggled.

Edward chuckled and reached through the window of the tree house he'd made and gently petted her head with his finger. "Alright. I'll go make the order."

While he was on the phone, Ginger sat and held a tea party with the miniature tea set and plushies Edward had made or otherwise had been bought for her.

After about forty five minutes or so, their dinner was delivered in several laden and heavy paper bags.

Edward tipped the delivery guy and closed the door before he brought their food onto the coffee table. He brought Ginger out of her tree house and placed her on a tiny dollhouse chair at a tiny table on top of the coffee table. Her tiny dishes and silverware had been cleaned and set there, and her tiny cup filled with apple juice. The ocelot watched her friend open the bags, set out their steaming meals, and cut off little pieces of everything for her to enjoy.

Edward then sat cross-legged on the carpet on the other side of the table. He could have sat on the couch, but he sometimes liked to sit on the floor for reasons unknown to Gingersnap.

Ginger ate a tiny floret of broccoli, several bites of shrimp, a nibble of chicken and beef, a piece of everything including the shell from an eggroll, a chunk of noodle, and a few grains of fried rice.

Edward ate the entire bowl of chicken lo mein, half the shrimp with rice, and a few bites of the beef with broccoli. He ate the rest of Ginger's egg roll and another one, and several glasses of juice to wash it all down.

"Want any more, Gingersnap?"

Ginger shook her head and pushed aside her dirtied dollhouse plates. "There's still so much left!"

The "leftovers" were enough to feed two or even three extra guests; two egg rolls, a bowl half full of rice and shrimp, a bowl of broccoli and beef in thick sauce and more rice, and another bowl of chicken covered in teriyaki sauce that had come free with the large order.

"Sure is..." Edward slurped up the last noodles from the chicken dish and gave a content sigh. "I'm full. Looks like we'll be having Chinese for lunch tomorrow...and maybe dinner."

Ginger looked ashamed as her long tail drooped and her ears folded. "I'm sorry I asked you to order so much food even though we couldn't have eaten it all while it's fresh..."

"No no, it's alright, Ginger! I've still got plenty of room-" Edward sat up and thumped his chest. "Urp...see? Haha..." He grabbed the bowl of shrimp over rice and dug into it with renewed gusto.

Ginger immediately perked up and watched him while sipping from her apple juice glass. She set down her glass and smiled up at the young man stuffing rice into his mouth. "You had me worried for a second, Ed!" She giggled.

"Y-yeah?" When the bowl was empty, Edward burped again and started on the full bowl of beef and broccoli. "Well, no meal is a match for me!" He patted his belly with his right hand while eating with his left.

"You're right! This meal is like a snack for you! I should have known."

"Uh, yeah, you got me!" Edward raised the bowl to his lips and hid his strained expression behind the black plastic as he forced down the last bites of beef, chunks of broccoli, and piles of rice. He was starting to feel overfull, but he couldn't stop now...he couldn't handle the guilt he'd seen in Ginger's eyes, like she had been about to cry! He'd deal with the aftermath of overeating, for her sake.

Edward gave a rough belch and tossed the empty bowl onto the coffee table. He grabbed the last two egg rolls, one in each hand, and took bites out of each until they both disappeared down his gullet. He knew that once he reached his absolute limit, he would not be able to eat any more, so he committed to eating fast to trick his stomach, at least for a little bit.

"Last bowl, Ginger!" Edward announced with a hiccup.

"Hooray!" Ginger watched him dig into the last dish and gulp down huge mouthfuls of chicken.

Edward took a huge swig of apple juice (his throat was still so dry from the egg rolls he couldn't help it) and brought another big forkful of chicken to his lips. He rapidly finished the last several large bites and let the empty bowl fall to the table as he leaned back on one hand, panting heavily.

"Wow, you really must have been hungry!" Ginger mused.

While Edward wasn't exactly starving before the meal, he knew he wouldn't feel hungry again for quite a while. Well, at least not until bedtime... But for the time being, he was rather overstuffed and rooted to his spot on the carpet.

"Is it cuddle time now?" Ginger hopped off her chair and weaved her way through the empty bowls to the edge of the coffee table. When she got to the edge, she peered over and was greeted with the sight of Edward's very full, very round belly. So round and tight, in fact, that his shirt had ridden up to expose a large sliver of skin on his stomach.

"Oh, don't forget about the fortune cookies!" Ginger cheerfully reminded him as she jumped off the table.

The ocelot bounced off Edward's tight stomach and he caught her in midair with his free hand before she could launch herself back onto the table. "What?! That's it, c'mere you!" He brought her up close to his face, his golden eyes blazing with false anger. "You wanted me to overeat, didn't you?!"

"Huh? Me? I don't... ahem, I don't know what you're talking about...~" Ginger looked away while she tried to conceal a grin.

"Tch, I shoulda known..." Edward smirked and then growled playfully, ruffling the red fluff of hair on her head. "I swear, you're making me get fat on purpose..."

"Would I do that?" Ginger batted her eyelashes at him.

Edward blinked in surprise. He hadn't expected such sass from the little ocelot! "You little... Well! Since you wanted me to get a big full belly so badly, why don't you just go and see for yourself how overstuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey I am!" Dangling Ginger's tiny form above him, Edward threw his head back, maw open wide, and let her drop straight down his throat. He closed his mouth and sent her straight down his throat with one powerful swallow.

Edward leaned back on the plush carpet with one arm behind his head and his left hand firmly clutching his gurgling stomach under his shirt. "You're staying in there until I recover from this food coma!"

"Fine by me!" Ginger giggled.
