PART .3.
We were both done eating, and Levi was ready to head out in order to start the tour, so was I. We both had a decent time together, but we still had the entire day ahead of us.
"We're going to start with the attractions, how does that sound?" I asked as we stepped out into the hallway. He stood there for a moment, thinking about his answer, "Depends on what they are, I guess?" He replied. I grabbed his hand tightly.
"Just follow me you dumb dog." I said as I dragged him through the hallway. "D-dog?" Finally he seemed irritated by something, which made me feel as if I accomplished something revolutionary.
"If you wait patiently until the end, I'll give you a treat!" I teased him further, trying to see if he would do anything to me, but he just rolled his eyes.
"...Can it be the cheese flavoured bone?" He asked out of nowhere. I thought about what he just told me, before jumping back at him, shocked. "You eat dog food!?" I asked, my eyes widening.
"Y-Yeah, and?" He answered, trying to act tough and confident. "It's good... so why not?" His face was turning bright red. That was the first time I ever saw Levi getting flushed, or embarrassed. I finally figured out his soft spot, and that was dog food!
"That's humiliating... do you eat it off the floor?" I said, trying my best to get him enraged or aggravated. "Come on... I don't...." He pouted as he looked down on the floor. "I enjoy pissing you off!" I said, mocking him and trying to imitate his deep voice.
"Oh wow, you'll pay for that..." He said, his eyes growing more and more threatening, "For what? The dog food? Arf Arf!" He began growling at me, his fangs showing.
"Good thing today has been going smoothly... I'll wait for tonight though." He said, his growling slowly coming to a halt. I wanted to reuse that remark of him barely acting on his words, but I chose not to since I already seemed to have angered him enough.
"So, the attractions, where do we start?" He asked, returning to his normal stature and attitude. I pointed at the door that was located a few meters away from us.
"So, that's the casino, it's also a bar and it's where the crackheads go to pass out and maybe die." I said, trying to scare him a bit, but he didn't seem fazed by any of what I said.
"That's cool." He said, I paused for a second, trying to figure out how he didn't ask about any of that. "Can't you be any more emotionless?" I asked, confused by his response.
"When I'm not interested in something I show it." He smiled, before looking over to the rest of the hallway.
Apparently he wasn't into those things, even though he gave off the impression he was a lifeless delinquent when he walked into the hotel the day before.
"Oh, over there is the arcade, it's not that popular though." I remarked, pointing over at the door that was a few meters away from us. "Wait you have an arcade?" He said as his voice lit up, his tail began wagging behind him.
"Yeah, it's pretty big actually." I said, finally finding something he was maybe interested in. When it came to arcade games, I was the master, the guru of it all, as well as an obsessed freak with their past and how they were made, so maybe he was going to finally be a challenger?
He instantly dashed over to it, and I desperately tried to catch up to him since he was so fast. Once he swung the large doors open, we were both greeted with the vibrant, almost nostalgic LED lights beaming out of the arcade systems. "....Oh wow!" He said loudly, his voice cheerful and excited.
"Looks good, huh?" I said, walking in with my hands behind my back. He nodded his head, as if speechless. The space was extremely large, with machines in every single nook and cranny of all genres, shapes and sizes. The high ceiling above us was covered with very faint, purple lights.
