PART .16.

**POV:K**

His fur felt soft and warm against my body, pressing me deeper into him as he blocked away every single hint of loneliness or cold. My body was slowly growing back its energy once I felt like I slept enough, but I was too comfortable to move from where I was.

Even though I was embraced against him, the freezing cold was too strong to not notice, as well as the deafening sounds of the howling winds outside of the tent, shaking its walls. Eventually, it became alarming enough to the point where I had to wake Levi up.

"Hey..." I groaned as I lifted his arms off of me, sitting up reluctantly. I shook him on the shoulder as I watched him slowly opening up his eyes, which glanced right over at me once he regained consciousness. A gentle smile formed on his face and his tail began to wag once he saw me.

"Sup..." He spoke as he slowly sat up, like a sleeping giant waking up from a long slumber. His head turned around in different directions as his ears twisted and turned frantically. "There's a storm outside... I think." I remarked, and as a result, he got up to his knees and unzipped the thin sheet on the tent ceiling to reveal the transparent plastic cover.

He lifted his head up in order for his eyes to scan the outside, restricted a bit from the cover. His mouth dropped instantly. "Yep, we need to pack up and leave." He said abruptly, crawling over to our backpacks and opening them in order to put stuff in.

"Wait, what!?" I exclaimed loudly, shocked by his statement. "I think there's a blizzard on it's way, we need to get this over with." He responded. It was happening too fast I wasn't able to react in time, but eventually I stood up and poked my vision out to see what he was talking about.

All of the trees and grass were covered with a thick sheet of snow, waving and shaking around violently as the horridly strong winds snapped the smaller branches off. In a matter of seconds, I was next to Levi trying to help him with the packing, since there didn't seem to be much time left until that blizzard arrived, which it was already about to.

"We need to get Charles and Lin...." He said, zipping up his bag and instantly grabbing his jacket. Right before I even said anything, two silhouettes appeared from behind our tent door.

"Get the fuck out!" Screamed Lin from the other side as she banged on the entrance, before I finally rushed over to my jacket to put it on, unzipping the entrance.

We stared at each other with distressed expressions, Charles completely silent with fear as the scarf covered half his face and beak, while Lin seemed to be panicking out of her mind. "You guys are ready?" Asked Levi as he placed his backpack on his back, tossing me mine.

"Yeah...." Responded Charles, "But we might have to leave the tents behind, and since the van crashed we're going to fly back." We glanced at each other for a few moments before Levi grabbed my hand, and dragged me out of the tent.

The strong wind hit me suddenly, making it feel as if it was going to send me flying. It was freezing, and barely any of us had protective clothing. Levi was having no problems since he was a wolf, so he wrapped his arms around all of us in order to warm us up as we planned something out.

"Charles, you're going to carry Levi...." I said as I awaited his shocked reaction, "What? Really?" His eyes widened as he looked up at him.

"Come on, I'm not that heavy." Levi's glance shifted over to something else for a moment. "I'll carry Krow then." Stated Lin, grabbing my hand tightly.

The snow was so close to obscuring our vision completely, but we trusted Lin and Charles's instincts to fly us back to the hotel. Charles spread his wings open in front of us, but there was no time for me to be filled with jealousy.
