PART .20.

**POV:L**

My strength was completely built up in my arm, grasping the spear tightly with all of my might before lunging it forwards in the air...

Before I even had time to realize it, it went right through Mag's back, exiting out from the other side as a short shriek of agony left her mouth before she stumbled to the floor, her life leaving her slowly as her body became less, and less tense, before eventually dying.

Have I made it in time? Was I finally able to catch up to my own expectations of saving the person I loved? The answer was right in front of me, sprawled across the floor with a giant gash in his stomach, an ungodly amount of blood flowing out of his system. His hand reached out for me, trying desperately to see me.

"Krow!" I dashed over to him, only then noticing the white pair of wings protruding from his back, and spread on the floor. It was shocking, but I pulled through it and tried my best to reach him. I slid off my shirt and wrapped it around his torso and over the wound, and that whole time, his hand was on mine as if trying to stop me.

"Just hold on! I was able to call the ambulance!" I cried out in a panic as I placed my hand under his arm, and my other hand under his back and lifting up, carrying him in my arms. He didn't reply, only looking at me with a sombre expression, and his crystal blue eye piercing through my soul in a comforting way.

His palm reached out, and caressed my cheek, his odd wings lifted up and wrapping themselves around us as a form of protection. "Levi..." He murmured, clearly struggling to speak. "Shh, don't talk, it's fine, I swear." I reassured him, watching as the immense amount of blood coming from his wound dripped right through my shirt.

Fear and worry washed over me, as well as the horror of imagining a future without him. "No... just please..." He spoke, his voice weak and at the verge of fading away. "What is it?" I asked, tearing up as I held him close to me.

"Let me die."

Those words filled me with an odd feeling of shock and terror, his sombre expression and emotional eyes still looking directly at me as the tears finally began running down. "What are you saying!? Are you out of your mind?" I demanded an answer as I felt his wings pressing us closer.

"Please, Levi... I don't want to... I can't handle it." A tear ran down his eye, his hand sliding down to my shoulder. "No! I won't, Krow!" I insisted, but it was no use.

"I don't want to live anymore... I've gone through so much..." His voice was quivering as well as mine.

"You can't just leave me here.... You helped me! You made me fall in love with you!" I yelled out in frustration, unable to understand him.

"You'll find someone else, I don't deserve you..." He uttered, "Defects don't... they don't deserve life." If only he wasn't injured, I would've slapped him across the face and hugged him tightly.

"Krow, you can't say that... you're literally everything to me!".

I was hoping deeply for the ambulance to arrive already, for them to save him since my shirt was doing nothing to stop the bleeding. "Trust me... it's better for everyone." He stated, his eye about to close, and his wings getting noticeably weaker.

The hand that was once on my cheek and shoulder, slumped down limply onto Krow's chest, his wings falling onto the floor as his breathing died down. His eye was completely shut, and he wasn't saying anything else.

"Krow..." I spoke, my eyes wide open and my voice breaking. "Krow!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, shaking him in order to wake up. It was no use, he wasn't responding, his face was relaxed with a faint smile and his body was getting cold.
