Morris laid in bed Caledonia snuggled up close to him. His men no doubt knew what had happened, it was midday and he and Caledonia were no where to be found. He looked down at her and smiled, he ran his fingers through her hair. She opened her eyes and smiled,

"Hello..." She said her voice like a summer breeze,

"Hey..." Morris responded, his voice was rough but Caledonia found everlasting comfort in hearing it. She rolled over and saw light flooding through the windows... what time was it? She bolted out of bed,

"Morris! What time is it? How long have we been asleep?" She asked turning to look at him and then back at the window. Morris looked at her, she had the body of a godess. Caledonia looked down wondering what the Captain had been looking at, she yelped and snatched up one of his shirt slipping it on over her head,

"Morris!" She exclaimed, Morris let out a chuckle,

"You're beautiful..." He said leaning his head on his hand, Caledonia smiled,

"You're enchanting... and the Captain of this ship! You should be out there with your men!" She exclaimed motioning to the door, Morris shrugged,

"Today I'm all yours." He purred, Caledonia crossed her arms and smiled a piece of hair had fallen onto her face. She reached over and grabbed her underpants slipping them on. Morris noticed something on the outside of her thigh, it was a flower but something wasn't quite right,

"What's that?" Morris asked slinging his feet out of bed and sitting there a sheet covering him,

"What?" Caledonia asked standing in his shirt and her underpants, Morris motioned for her to come closer. She took a step forward and he lifted the shirt looking at the branding,

"This." He said motioning to it, Caledonia went silent, "Dia, what. Is. It?" Morris asked standing up, Dia avoided his gaze which burned into her like the hot iron had to her leg,

"It's nothing really..." She said brushing off the Captains intense concern,

"What do you mean nothing? Caledonia what is it?" He asked at the point of being outraged,

"It's a branding." Caledonia stated looking towards the floor, Morris brought his hand to her chin leading her gaze to his,

"Who did that to you?" He asked, Caledonia's eyes started to fill with tears,

"The man that the Harpy's took." She said with no emotion, Morris's eyes filled with anger,

"I wish we hadn't given him to the harpys. He deserved a worse death, it was a mercy!" Morris exclaimed turning around and knocking his ink well and pen off the desk along with some books,

"Morris!" Caledonia exclaimed reaching down and picking up the things that he had knocked over, "That was a long time ago, I had forgotten it was even there." She lied, she looked at it when ever her thigh was exposed.

She remembered when it happened, the pain not only from the burning flesh but of being owned by someone. Her freedom was ripped from her, like a flower from the earth. Morris got dressed and retreated to the wheel, he was angry. How could someone do that to another human, he asked himself. Riley walked up to him,

"Sir, you seem upset..." He said, Morris turned to him,

"Do you know what that monster did to Caledonia?!?" He exclaimed, he turned his head looking ahead of him, "That bastard branded her..."

"What!?!" Riley almost screamed, he felt anger boil in the pits of his heart. He loved Caledonia, they had been talking since the moment she set foot aboard this ship. She was like a little sister to him, the fact that someone would do that to her! Morris and Riley spoke of their anger and of many other things.
