18- Now my questions and your answers, Fit together like a puzzle

Felix felt like he was living his best life ever, especially with Chan by his side.

A few more weeks had passed and the two fit perfectly together like a puzzle. One of the days Chan decided to stop at the grocery store to pick up ingredients to cook that night. Felix hadn't been in a grocery store before, so it was all new to him.

"Channie, can we get these?" He pleaded as he pointed to some strawberries.

"Of course kitten, get as many as you like" the older smiled as he pushed the shopping cart around.

"Thank you Channie! " he meowed as he picked up two boxes.

Chan brought them to the fresh greens aisle, picking up some vegetables and such. They continued to make their way down the aisles, now going to the packaged goods. Chan grabbed some packages of rice and pasta, throwing it in the cart as Felix followed.

Just then, Felix's senses felt off.

Is someone behind us....?

He slowly turned around to see a male directly in front of him. Jumping backwards almost into Chan, Felix hissed at the stranger.

"Felix, what's wro-" Chan turned around.

Felix's eyes went wide as he continued to hiss and growl at the stranger, as he was too close to them for the hybrid's comfort.

"Whoa! It's ok kitty, I'm not gonna hurt you!" The stranger put his hands up calmly.

Felix hissed again as his tail was all over the place.
That's when he felt Chan pull him close to him.

"Lix, calm down it's ok. I know him" Chan calmly said to him as he petted his head.

He moved Felix to the side as he approached he stranger.

"Hey Changbin, it's been a while! 

Changbin... is that his name...?
Who is he....?

Felix thought as he watched the two interact.

"Hey Chan, how ya been man?" He said giving the older a hug.

Why is he touching him...!?

Felix lowly growled at the stranger.

Chan turned his attention to him.

"Felix, it's ok. He's a friend" he said reassuringly as he ruffled his hair. Felix just nodded and looked down.

"You've got quite the eye there little kitty, just like your owner" Changbin chuckled.

I still don't like him....

Felix quietly glared at Changbin from standing behind Chan. Changbin was too busy catching up with Chan to notice.

"I haven't seen you since Med school! How's your practice going?"

"I know! It's going really well! How's doing brain surgery? Last time I saw you, you were obsessed with neurology" he joked.

"It's going pretty good, taking it a brain at a time" they both laughed.

"Well it was good seeing you! We should hang out sometime" Chan smiled.

"Sure! I have a hybrid too! His name is Hyunjin , I'm sure he would love to play with Felix!"

Felix heard that, calming down a bit.

Play...? I want to play!

He curiously twirled his tail as he listened.

"Sounds good! Here, take my number. We should meet up soon!" Chan handed him his phone to input his contact info.
