34- Stay Together

"What..?" Chan stopped typing to lift his head.

"I said I really like Minho! He said I'm cute and pretty" Felix giggled.

"Oh... did he now..."

"Yup! We talked a lot, we have a lot in common! He said he also has a hybrid name Jisung too! He wants him to meet me... oh! And he got me ice cream too!"

"I see...." he let out a deep sigh.

Chan didn't realize jealousy started to course through his veins again. He knew Minho was friendly, but him being this friendly with Felix was bothering him somehow.

He also didn't realize Felix was still talking.

"And he said he liked my outfit, especially my shorts!"

"Kitten...."

Chan wasn't sure how much more he could handle. He couldn't tell if it was work stress or hearing all the things Minho said to Felix, but it didn't put him in the best mood right now.

"He said my ears and tail were really cute too, oh and my eye!"

"Lix sto-"

"Oh and he said I'm one of a kind! "

"Felix-"

"Like, if you hadn't adopted me, he would have in a heartbeat! I didn't think anyone other than you would have wanted me Cha-"

"Felix stop!" Chan suddenly yelled as he slammed his hands on the keyboard.

The room was silent for a few seconds. Before Felix tried speaking up.

"Cha-"

"Felix, just...let me finish my work so we can go home please" Chan clenched his jaw as he ran his hands through his hair. He went back to typing as he tried to calm himself.

"Sorry...." Felix whispered out as he turned around on the couch to look out the window at the night sky.

I didn't mean to distract him...
Now he's angry at me...
I shouldn't have bothered him...

Felix played with his tail as he stayed quiet on the couch.

Chan had finally finished what he was typing before he let out a long sigh. That's when it hit him, he snapped at Felix.

I'm a fucking idiot....

He didn't realize his jealousy would take over like this again. He just loved him so much.

"Kitten... I'm done now... I'm sorry I-"

"O-Ok Channie...I'll put these books away... " the younger quietly meowed as he gathered the books from the couch to carry over to the bookcase.

Chan felt horrible for snapping at the younger, and he knew Felix felt sad from that. He slowly got up from his chair, inching to the younger.

"Kitten..."

"I-I'm sorry I disturbed you Channie... I'm fine with staying home from now on... I'm sorry..." he muttered as he slowly put back the books in their right places.

"Sweetheart... no... it's me who needs to apologize" he inched closer to slip his arms around his waist, resting his head on Felix's shoulder.

"Baby I'm sorry... I got jealous of Minho... so I was an ass... it's no excuse for it... you mean everything to me... so I get protective of you... and a bit possessive...." he trailed off.
