"Channie..." Felix continued to cry as he hid under the bedsheets. The entire place was blacked out, and there was no way he was going to try and get his phone in the dark even though he could see with his heightened senses.
This is what I get for being bad...
He cried to himself loudly hoping the storm would stop, but it didn't.

"Shit... all this rain... I should have checked the weather today... if I had known... I wouldn't have let him gone home alone..."
Chan was speeding back home, trying to be careful on his way. He remembered the younger was scared to death of the storms, from his past of wandering the streets at night.
I'm a terrible owner... not only did I upset him today but now he's alone.. scared and alone...
*BOOM*
Felix felt as if his night was going to be pure torture.
"Channie... please... Chan..."
*bang*
Felix was so scared he didn't hear the door open.
"Felix! Kitten? Where are you baby!? I'm here!"
Chan ran inside, his heart almost dropping as he saw the entire place was pitch dark. Only some brightness here and there from the lighting, but other than that you couldn't see a thing.
The heavy downpour made it hard for Felix to hear anything.
Chan turned on his phone flashlight as he searched his place for the boy.
"Kitten? Make some noise for me sweetie. I need to find you" he yelled as he searched the living room. When he didn't see him there, he walked to the study.
Still no sign of him.
*BOOM*
"Shit..." Chan continued to rush around his place until he reached their bedroom.
"Baby? You in here?" He flashed his light around until he saw a small lump under the sheets.
He dropped his phone on the floor as he ran to the bed.
"Kitten, it's me" he said as he gently lifted the sheets from him.
Felix finally noticed the sheets being lifted from him as he turned his head to see Chan. It was dark, but his cat vision to see in the dark allowed him to see the older somewhat clear.
"C-Channie-"
*BOOM*
Just then another sound of thunder went off. Felix jumped into Chan's chest, hiding himself.
"Channie...Channie..." he sobbed. The older could only feel saddened at the sight, pulling Felix closer to him.
"Shhh, It's ok. It's ok. I'm here sweetheart, everything's gonna be ok" he said as he rocked the younger back and forth.
Felix cried uncontrollably in Chan's arms. Tears from fear but also tears from happiness now that the older was there.
Chan situated himself to lay against the headboard as he held Felix close to him. The younger shuddering at every sound of thunder.
Chan continued to say soothing words as he rubbed his back.
"I'm here baby. It's ok, I'm not leaving" he leaned down to kiss his head.
"Please... don't leave me Channie..."
Chan could feel his heart break again.
I should have never left him alone...
