27- I want to know, I think you can know me

Felix was starting to finally feel calm after that night with Chan comforting him the entire weekend. Before they knew it, it was already Monday morning.

Felix was fast asleep snuggled into multiple pillows.
He slowly turned over, into the empty space next to him.

He purred as he reached his hand around, feeling strange as the older wasn't there. He slowly opened his eyes before looking over.

"Channie....?" He purred as he saw no sight of the older. He rubbed his eyes open before stretching and sitting up.

Oh it's Monday... I forgot...workday...

He pouted as he turned to look out the window of the bedroom, taking in the bright skyline that illuminated the room. He was snapped out of his daze however as he heard noises from the kitchen.

What was that...?

He slowly got up, making his way to the bedroom door.

Oh no... did someone break in!?

Felix began to panic as he opened the door, slowly creeping his way into the kitchen. He didn't realize his tail was fluffed up and he was growling as he came around the corner. He was surprised however to see not a stranger, but Chan.

"C-Chan...?"

Just then Chan stopped what he was doing to turn around and face the younger.

"Morning baby, how did you sleep?" He smiled as he walked up to Felix, slipping his arms around his waist to pull him close into a kiss.

Felix was still confused as he pulled away from the kiss.

"Channie? W-what are you doing home? Aren't you supposed to be at work?"

Chan pulled Felix even closer to his chest.

"Well, after what happened the other day. I'm not comfortable leaving you alone just yet. So, I took today off from work" he smiled before kissing Felix on the forehead.

"Took off?"

"That's right princess"

"But Channie, is that ok...? Won't you get in trouble...?" Felix asked with worry.

"Baby, you're the only thing that's important to me right now. There are plenty of other doctors who can fill in for me" Chan chuckled before pecking his lips.

Felix smiled widely upon hearing Chan will be home all day with him.

"Yay! I get another day with Channie!" He meowed before jumping on Chan, knocking them both down onto the floor as per usual.

"Ow... kitten. I'm starting to think no matter how many times I tell you not to do that, you still do" he chuckled. Felix just purred and rubbed his face into Chan's neck, slipping his arms around him.

"I love you Channie...." he purred and meowed.

Chan petted his head giggling.

"I love you too kitten. Now we need to get up so we can eat breakfast" he laughed as he rubbed the younger's back.

"Whipped cream?!" Felix sat up with excitement as he twirled his tail. Chan shifted to sit up and kiss him on the cheek.

"Yes baby, you can get whipped cream with pancakes" he laughed.

"Thank you Channie!" He meowed before hugging the older again. He then quickly pulled away to face Chan.

"Can I help make them?" He asked eagerly still purring.

"Of course kitten, you can help me make as many you want"

"Ok Channie! I'll go brush my teeth and be right back!" Felix meowed scurrying off.

Once he was done, he rushed back out to the older.

"I'm here Channie!"

"There's my cute kitty"

Chan smiled before picking Felix up koala style, and carrying him to the counter to sit on.

"I'll get the ingredients and you can mix, ok baby?" Chan said as he walked over to his pantry.

"Ok Channie!" Felix meowed as he swung his legs back and forth on the counter.

Chan had placed all the ingredients in the bowl as Felix jumped down to move in front of him to mix. The older quickly moved closer to him, slipping his arms around his waist as he rested his chin on Felix's shoulder.

"Channie, what's wrong?" Felix turned his head slightly as he kept mixing.

"Mmm nothing" he said as he squeezed the boy tighter and closer to him, making it now harder for Felix to stir or move.

"Channie, I can't move" he giggled.

"Sorry, it's hard to resist you kitten" He smiled as he pressed feather kisses on his neck.

Felix squirmed a bit.

"Channie that tickles!" He giggled and meowed as Chan continued to kiss him.

"I told you kitten, I can't help it" he giggled back.

Felix meowed before turning his head again to look at Chan.

"Channie, what's wrong? You're extra clingy today" He giggled.

Chan kept his hold on the younger, moving to kiss the top of his head and breathe in his honey shampoo scent.

He didn't respond, which Felix placed the bowl down before turning around fully in Chan's arms, facing the older.

"Channie?" He asked with a wide smile.

Chan's smile faltered a bit before he sighed.

"It's just... since that night...I want to appreciate every moment I have with you... the thought of losing you again-"

"Channie..." Felix gave a pout before reaching up to cup his cheeks.

"Channie, you won't lose me. Remember? You were the one who said you'd always come find me" He smiled before moving his hand to show his ring to Chan.

"See? You'll always have me, no matter what. Just like I'll always have you, Channie" he meowed before leaning to kiss Chan.

Felix shifted to hug Chan as he slipped his arms around the older's back. Snuggling his face into Chan's chest.

Chan almost felt like tearing up hearing Felix say that. He wrapped his arms around the younger, squeezing him tight in the hug.

"That's right kitten, you'll always have me. And I'll always love you" He smiled into the younger's hair.

You'll always have my heart and soul Felix...

They stayed like that for a bit before Chan pulled away.

"Ok, I'll behave and let you finish mixing while I get everything else ready princess" he chuckled before kissing him on the nose.

"Ok Channie!" Felix meowed before turning his attention back to mixing.

Chan moved to the fridge to get everything else out, turning his head to gaze upon the younger.

Felix, you have a place in my heart forever....

I swear, my books are making me a soft Stan for Chanlix more than a hard stan lol

Fun fact: my family and I have Kpop nights once a week. And other nights my mum and I watch Felix " pops in Seoul".

She calls him her " dance instructor " 😂😭
