𝙰𝚕𝚕𝚢'𝚜 𝙿𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚙𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚎

I look around me feeling content, I attach my knife to my hip brushing my hair back from my sweat cover face letting out a huff "Mom!" I heard someone call out from behind me so I turned and smiled seeing my son running up to me "I'm gonna go on a run with dad and Eli, just wanted to tell ya so you didn't worry if I was gone." he said catching his breath, I smiled once more brushing some dirty blonde locks of hair away from his tanned face "Alright, well be safe and be sure to stay close to your father, got it?" I said patting his cheek he gave me a grin and nodded "I will don't worry ma." he said placing his hands on his hips "You got your guns?" I ask he nods again patting his leg holster "Colt python right here loaded and ready." he said smirking proud of himself "Knife?" I ask he nods again "Other hip, got two ones yours but you have a whole collection so I decided why not just take one." he said letting out a nervous laugh "Ooo, which one did ya take?" I said curious, he swiftly pulls out my benchmade 85 Bali-song butterfly knife, I carefully took it from his hand flipping it open "Nice choice." I said looking it over "Its one of my older ones got it after you were born." I said closing it and handing it back to him to put away, he slides it into its rightful spot before looking at me "Really?" I nodded smiling "I got a gun and that knife for safety purposes, wasn't exactly safe when I had you." I said ruffling his hair "Now get goin' boy or Daryl'll have your ass, go." I said laughing as he nods remembering he had a run to go do "Right- Sorry, love you bye." he said kissing my cheek before running off and out of the safe zone waiting for the two others, I look up seeing Daryl approaching me as Elijah walks off to meet Lee, I extend my arms out to him which he gently takes sliding his hands up the under part of them till he reaches me fully "Hey there, you come here often?" I cheekily say getting a curt chuckle out of him "Why do ya always say that?" he asks looking me over "Good timing love." I said proudly as I kiss his cheek "Be safe this run, remember to watch over Levi we both know he has a taste for trouble." I say placing my hand over his that was on my waist, he nods and kisses my head "I will, don' gotta worry." he said rubbing my side before pulling away "Go on then before I change my mind and send the other group." I said playfully he lets out a short laugh "I'm goin' woman calm ya ass." he said walking off.
