On Saturday the first quidditch match of the season happened. I wasn't playing, but Harry and Draco were both playing. As Seekers. On different teams. I decided to just cheer when both teams did a good thing.

Everyone was chattery that's morning. People were placing bets, mostly on Slytherin. Once word had gotten out on the new brooms they had all gotten, people lost hope for the other teams. Though, Hufflepuff had an onslaught of demigods in their ranks, and I've come to realize that all of us are willing to die to win. (Well, die to have fun, but that's practically the same thing.)

I'd taken two Bludgers during a game last year. Just so Cedric, Hufflepuff's Seeker, could get the Golden snitch. I'd gotten really hurt. Travis and Connor Stoll both continue to dive bomb off of their brooms to hit Bludgers at people. It's annoying to try and catch them. Katie Gardner, a Demeter kid and a Chaser like me, body slams the Quaffle. Not so bad, except she'll do it even when people are holding the Quaffle.

It really annoys Cedric, who's practically a mother to the whole team, but we're a bunch of ADHD demigods who are trained to act out our impulses. We can't just not hurtle ourselves off of a broom at 300 feet to hit a ball, or body slam a person while it's raining. What else are we supposed to do?

At 11 we all started down towards the Quidditch Pitch. We climbed up into the stands and sat down, waiting for the two teams to come out.

The Gryffindors walked out onto the field, and a roar filled the stands. Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, and Ravenclaw were all hoping to see Slytherin get beaten, but the Slytherin crowds boos were still heard.

Oliver Wood, the Gryffindor Captain, shook hands with Marcus Flint, the Slytherin captain, and Madam Hooch blew her whistle. The fourteen players flew into the sky, beginning the game as the crowd roared. Harry flew above the rest of the player's heads, scanning the area for the golden snitch.

Suddenly, a Bludger flew at Harry. I hadn't seen anyone hit it, but sometimes that happened. He dodged the Bludger and George flew by him, whacking the ball with his bat towards Adrian Pucey. As it was flying towards the Slytherin boy, it changed directions and started hurtling towards Harry again.

"It's last year all over again," I whispered, watching the ball as George hit it again, this time at Draco.

I watched with horror as the other Bludger started flying strangely too. Instead of flying at Harry, though, it was flying at me.

"This is new," I whispered. The crowd parted like the sea, struggling to get away from the rogue Bludger. As I moved, I saw it shift its course slightly with me.

I was about to duck, but the ball dropped suddenly, falling towards the ground. I realized it had started to rain, and that both teams were on the ground talking. All balls couldn't move during that time.

"We probably just didn't notice that it had been hit by one of the players," Hermione said shakily, standing up beside me. "There was no way it was targeting you."

I nodded slightly beside her.

The whistle blew, and the game began. Everything started up again. The first Bludger was chasing Harry, and I could hear the second one tearing a hole through the wood of the bleachers beneath us.

As the rain fell, I realized that we were alone. No one was paying attention to us, and the rain didn't help. Only us and the people surrounding us had any idea of what was going on.

I imagined that changing when people started screaming.

I could hear the Bludger beneath me, whistling even as it shattered the wood keeping the bleachers up. People surrounding us were struggling to get away from the terror below.

At the last second, I jumped over the edge of the bleachers. The ball missed me, barely, and I was dangling for my life above the Quidditch Pitch.

I could hear the whistling of the ball again, and let go with one of my arms, flipping to grab the wall again as the Bludger slammed into the wall beside me.

I soon found George and Fred whacking the ball away from me. It attacked Fred, knocking him off of his broom. George immediately rushed to catch his brother. I was left alone with the Bludger again.

It was about to slam into me, when arms suddenly grabbed me from behind. Ron and Hermione pulled me up over the edge and we stood.

Then the Bludger hit me. I heard Hermione scream and Ron shout for help as I fell backwards. Dimly I was aware of the whistle blaring as my leg fell into the hole that had been originally made by the Bludger. Ron caught me and I watched the ball roll away limply, as if I hadn't just been attacked by it.

I was finding it more and more difficult to breathe as Hermione and Ron kneeled beside me. I could hear shouts for help as they told me to stay awake.

In a flash I remembered Draco telling me the same last year. I'd been bitten by a venomous snake, and he had carried me to the Hospital Wing. I wanted Draco very badly at that moment.

I saw Cedric's concerned face leaning over me. He said something but a ringing in my ears blocked it out. Then, with a lot of pain on my end, he and someone else lifted me up, and started walking away with me.

They carried me up to the Hospital Wing, Madam Pomfrey immediately rushing over. I couldn't hear anything, but I could see Cedric and Katie standing beside the bed I was lying on with concerned faces.

I passed out not long after that.

Beach adventures #1
So I'm in Florida. Panama City. Right across from a place called Condom Knowledge. It's been a pretty fun few days. We spent twelve hours in a car, and I slept most of the time. We got to the house (I got them rich house renter grandparents), and immediately went swimming. The rest of my family got here, I tried Ramen, and we slept and stuff. But before we slept, we found out our room is haunted. So Emblem got up to turn off the lights, and the door started moving, so we were just like 'nope'. Then I was like, 'yup'. I went up to the door, and it started wiggling at me. I asked if the ghost wanted to possess me, and nothing happened. Emblem asked if the ghost was friendly, and the door closed halfway. Naturally, I was all like, "Oh, could you close it the rest of the way?" And the door slammed shut. So, yeah. We woke up and went swimming again, and there's jelly fish. Then I went to Goodwill with my grandma, and this lady there was singing. My grandma thought it was my little sister, and joined in. We got back, it rained really hard, ate some tacos. Best part, was the firetruck. There was a fire by our neighbors house or something, and a firetruck stopped right beside us. The road is small, so it had to go backwards out of here. Triangle just broke the freakin window. We ate some tacos. We came back to our room, Emblem and Brianna had a fight, we walked along the beach, made some friends, two of which I am fairly certain were lying to us. We found some bubbles, we almost got lost, and Brianna got PTSD before he even went to the military (there was a laser). Anyway, this is just one fucking day. This guy kept going "woooo" for like several hours. We went swimming when the flag was red (swimming not recommended) and while we were out there they added another red flag (swimming not allowed) and this guy made us get out of the water. We went and played this mirror maze thing (my team won (Sam, Triangle, and me)) and a thing called bazooka ball (my teams also won (Sam, Emblem, and me)). Lastly, we attempted to watch a scary movie on my sister's computer, but no matter how hard Brianna tried, it didn't work, so we had to watch it on his phone. All five of us. On a different bed than the phone. It was quite awkward.

Sorry this thing is so long, I've already shortened it quite a bit, and this is everything that happened before today. I'm having a good time, and I'll see you guys on Friday.
