Howie was driving the van with anger covering his face. The triplets were all fussing over my face.
Suddenly, Howie cursed in Greek. He looked super annoyed, and said, "Now we're gonna have to go to court. How am I supposed to get you to court when you have school!"
I blinked for a moment, "You know Greek?"
Howie tensed for a moment, looking more worried than angry, "I learned it for a... friend."
I spoke, also in Greek, "You mean a demigod."
Howie paled, and in English, "We're gonna talk."
I nodded, and the rest of his siblings looked confused. Except for Haley.
"Dang, Howie's going to be the most surprised, huh," she said, looking at me.
Howie parked the car, blinking back at her with surprise.
"You're talking, too."
Haley nodded, probably wanting to see the surprise on her brother's face.
Howie turned to Henry, "Can you get the groceries, please? This is important."
Henry nodded, a confused expression resting on his face.
Haley and I followed Howie as he led us to his room. He shut the door and we sat on his bed.
"You two know about demigods," Howie said, pacing his room.
We both nodded.
"Okay. Okay. That's okay. Who told you about demigods?" Howie turned to look at us, a little wide eyed.
"Percy," Haley said immediately. Howie's eyes widened farther, then he turned to look at me.
"Doors."
"Doors?"
"Yes, doors."
Howie stared at me blankly for a moment before saying, "Elaborate."
"The doors at Gringotts. You know how they've got different languages on them? Well, the Greek and Latin ones talk about demigods," I said, trying to figure out how to tell him.
Howie looked surprised, "Where did you learn Greek?"
"It comes naturally."
"It... comes naturally...?"
I frowned, "Yeah. It does for most demigods."
Howie paled, and sat on the bed beside me, "You're a demigod?"
"Yes, I am. So is Luke. We were planning on telling everyone before break was over. Haley already knew about me. I told her when I found out she was a werewolf," I frowned, realizing the plan wasn't going to work anymore.
Howie had a sad look on his face, "Who's your godly parent?"
I grimaced, "Can't say. Unsavory ears might hear. If they do, I will most likely die."
Howie paled, and ideas seemed to be running throughout his head. Haley seemed to have made the connection already. I think she knew then. Poseidon.
Howie nodded, "Have you... seen any monsters yet?"
I nodded, "Yeah. There's a ton in the forest. A few would come to Luke's apartment. Uh. Growing up there were some. Not anything too bad, I'm still young."
Before Howie could say anything, I asked him, "Who told you about demigods?"
Howie froze for a second, but continued, "My boyfriend. He's a son of Demeter."
I nodded, "Katie Gardner and Neville Longbottom are children of Demeter. You know, there seems to be an odd amount of demigods at Hogwarts. It's pretty rare to get a Demi-wizard. Though I guess I understand. It's about to get rough."
Howie and Haley both froze, "Rough?"
I frowned, "I'm getting older. Once I'm old enough, if I live that long, there will be a war. A long and difficult war. Things are going to have to start leading up to it."
Howie froze, gaping at me like a fish, "War. You don't mean..?"
I looked at him and nodded slowly.
Howie looked a little panicked, "This isn't good. This isn't good at all. You're in danger, Percy, lots of danger."
It seems he has also made the connection.
I smiled softly, "I know. Have you seen the weather lately?"
Howie seemed confused at the change of subject, "Um, yeah, it's been pretty rough lately, but, Percy—"
I sighed, "I suppose it's starting then."
Then I got up and left.
That night, we told them. We told them about the Greek world. We told them about Luke's quest from years ago. With his brother and a Apollo child. We told them about Thalia and Grover and Draco. We told them about camp and everyone else. Almost everyone looked surprised.
Haley and Howie I knew weren't surprised. At least, not that surprised. Hope had been told by Luke at the beginning of their relationship. She knew everything already.
The rest of the kids, however, were extremely surprised.
Once Harrison started calling me a god, I left.
Not long later, we left for school again. This time, instead of having so much fun, we stared at the swirling storms outside of our window.
We all knew something was wrong. Something was very, very wrong.
So my CoD doesn't like me. I had to redownload it cause of problems, and now there are more problems. I can't play multiplayer, but I can play Warzone. It's really annoying. Here's to hoping I can find out how to fix it. I also need to call my grandparents, cause they sent me a birthday card.
Also, I love you guys, and I will see you on Saturday. :)
