Akira p.o.v
"Yeah! Finally in Zaban City!" I shout, jumping around looking at all sort of stalls with. Wtf, a panda frog? Holy shit, the stones from that woman looks so cool!
"As Navigators, our job is to identify worthy Hunter applicants and guide them to the exam site. In other words, it would be extremely difficult for someone to reach the site without a Navigator's help." I keep looking around, listening with half an ear  to the guy. There's only one thing I'm really worried about. I'm not ready good at remembering things or just a bad memory in general. I'm scared I'll forget important things hide I'm in this anime...And I could fuck things up. Speaking theoretically.
"You know, Zaban City is quite a shady place. Prosperous cities tend to attract all sort of nasty types." He further explains, still following the instructions on the piece of paper. "What are you doing, Gon? And what the hell are you doing, Akira!" I'm currently trying to find shorts that fit my size, where I have to take off my skirt in order to look if they fit.
"We're going!" Leorio screams, blushing madly because of something. Okay....does he has a fever or something? "Yeah!" Gon is already running after them, quickly catching up.
"Okay, coming!" I put on my skirt again and run after them. Leorio still refuses to look at me when I walk next to him. A bit confused I glance at him. Is he really sick or something?
"I believe...that is the building." The Navigator skids to a stop before a huge building.
"Huh?" The three guys mumble dumbfounded.
"Holy shit! So high!" I hold my arms up. Gon grins. "It's so tall!" We smile at each other. It's nice to have another person who's a bit like me to have around. Izumi used to beat me up for a few offensive jokes I made according to her. I found them pretty hilarious! I sweat drop at that thought of Izumi beating me up, again.
"They have a really nice building." Kura starts walking closer.
"So this is the exam site...This is what draws...Hunter applicants from across the world." Kura finishes Leorio's sentence. What are they? Fucking twins?
"My first shot at the Hunter Exam....Was this how Dad felt, when he first arrived?" I smile softly at him. I wish I could just think like him, after all my mother left me...
"Hey, guys!"
"Huh?" We all say at the same time. "Over here." Oh, yeah. I sweat drop. I forgot that this wasn't the building. "Here." He points to a small restaurant next to the huge building.
"Wait, this isn't funny. Isn't that an ordinary restaurant? You can't possibly mean that Hunter applicants from around the world are meant to assemble here?" Leorio asks in an unbelievable tone. Even Kura and Gon look a bit sour.
"I do." He smiles, looking like he's enjoying the faces they're pulling. I giggle and start walking to the door. "Yosh! Let's go!"
"Just like that?!" Screams Leorio behind me. I glance behind me. "Would you expect it to be from the Hunter Exam? No you wouldn't, that's why he's probably saying that." I gesture to the guy, who's still looking at us with an amused expression.
"...That's true." After the exchange we (finally) decide to come inside.
"Welcome!" An old man who's cooking shouts a greeting without taking his eyes of the frying pan. "Is the back room open?" The 'special' conversation will start, right now.
"What will you have?"
"The steak combo that opens your eyes to the light. For four." He holds up four fingers. "For four...How would you like them?" The old man's eyes widen slightly, but narrow quickly after that.
"Grilled over a low flame, until cooked." The old man smiles and turns back to his cooking. "Got it. Let yourself into the back room." We walk past him to the back room.

"Wait here." The guy says. I quickly take a seat, Kura sits right the opposite of me, and Gon is sitting on the right while the Navigator and Leorio just stay standing. "Wait? Where are the others?" Asks Leorio confused. They're already down.
"I can't wait for the steak combo." Gon comments excited. "I'm actually quite hungry, too." But there won't be any food. "Gon, Akira, that was just the password to get us inside." I pout.
"Nooooo..."
"Oh, we don't get to eat?"
"One in every thousand...." He suddenly mumbles.
"Hmm?" We turn to him. What is he talking about, again?
"The number of applicants who make it this far. You've done extremely well for first-timers. Well, good luck." He smiles, ready to leave. "Thanks!" He blinks, looking surprised as a hand is extended to him. But after a second he grasps Gon's hand and shakes it.
"I would be happy to serve you as your Navigator next year, as well." I give him a quick hug and skip back to my seat. The door closes with a thud and we're left alone. "What?" The room suddenly jerks and starts moving.
"It appears this room is an elevator."
"Wow, cool!" Kura gives me a small smile.
"Bastard...That means he expect us to fail this year." Leorio sits on the left seat, right beside me, looking quite irritated,
"Once every three years." We turn to Kura. What does he mean with that again?
"What's that?" Asks Leorio, still a bit irritated by the Navigator.
"The frequency with which a rookie passes the exam."
"Really?" Holy shit! That means I don't have that much chance! Fuck...that is really bad.
"Huh? It's that unusual?"
"Some cannot endure the exam's physical and mental strain. It's also not unusual for veterans to break the rookies, who consequently never retake the test." I sweat drop. Okay... I forgot about that, and the fact that there are not many girls....yep, I'm fucked.
"So I guess candidates are willing to risk everything to become Hunters." Mutters Gon thoughtfully. "But of course, my friends! Hunters make the most money in the world!" Leorio slams his hands down onto the table. I sigh inwardly. Here we go.
"No! Hunters are the most noble in this world." They glare at each other, it seems like if there's lightings between them.
"Glory hog.."
"Money grubber!" Leorio turns to us. Don't drag us in there! I cry inside my head. "Gon! Akira! Listen...Every year, over fifty Hunters make the list of the world's hundred richest people!" Kura spins the turntable, causing to Leorio backing up. I sigh. Space.
"Hunters are associated with hunting wild games and treasure, but they're all second rate. True Hunters work to protect people and the natural order." Kura explains calmly. Leorio comes closer again, and I back off sweat dropping. Easy, easy there.
"Now, look here...Once you're a Hunter, most countries will give you a free pass! And no charge to use public facilities. How are those benefits?" He's spinning again. "Hunters have many difficult and important responsibilities, such as preserving cultural artifacts and endangered species, as well as capturing criminals and unscrupulous Hunters."
"The fame and money...That's why people wish to become a Hunter!"
"Profound knowledge, a healthy mind and body, an unyielding conviction..Those are the qualities on which Hunters pride themselves!" They turn this time simultaneously to us. Fucking shit man.
"Gon! Akira! What do you think? Which kind of Hunter do you hope to become?!"
"Hey, hey, hey guys..." I hold up my hands, sweat dropping.
"Well, when you put it that way..." Gon trails off, not knowing what to say.
Ding!
"I think we've arrived." Kura comments, slowly progressing things.
"We'll continue this later." Leorio snaps. We both sigh.
"Phew, dodged a bullet." And quickly sprint out of the elevator, ignoring their calls.
