Earth had been living under Ben's roof for three days now. Ben had been busy with the legal papers he had to fill in. Earth tried to help the best he could, but he wasn't much of a help as he was still weak. Ben's mom had fed Earth to the best of her abilities, and Earth had spent more time with his long lost brother. 

How did Joong end up living there too? He never actually had any files. Dome had wanted to keep him as a secret from anyone as he was one of those rare cases, Nine hadn't been registered either. 

Joong was actually a funny guy, not that Earth had any doubt, he had known him for sometime, it had just been a little different then, different circumstances. 

"So what kinda hallucinations did you have about me?" Earth asked from Joong as he wanted to know if they had any connections. 

"Well I saw you always when I slept. I always visited this one room, it was really dull and white, but you were there and it wasn't as bad then. But then I wasn't able to come to you anymore, I don't know why..."

"Because I realized it was just hallucinations." Earth said quickly. "I was told about schizophrenia and how you... weren't real. But you visited me after that and told me that of course you weren't real, we said goodbyes and all-"

"I don't remember such conversation." Joong hummed out. "Maybe that was something you wanted to see, wanted to create something reasonable. You still have schizophrenia, does shit like that to you. Your mind is more powerful and creates bullshit like that."

"So technically, you were real the whole time?"

"Would make sense."

"Cool."

"Cool."

It got silent after that, they didn't know what else to talk about. Neither of them were that social, and didn't know any conversation starters.

Until; "That guy, Nine, have you thought about finding him now that you know he's not dead?"

Joong shrugged at that. Earth was able to see how his shoulders visibly slumped. Sadness wasn't a good look on Joong, it didn't fit him, at all. His presence looked like it was meant to be jolly and smiley. "He wouldn't remember me anyway, is there really a point to that?"

"Remember what Pavel said, he was going to make Dome fall for him again. Such bonds never die. You love someone once, you will never forget them, even if you literally forget everything, something like love would always stick."

"Doesn't make any sense to me."

"Trust me; find him, talk to him, he will know you, in his soul."

"Ew."

"Shut up."

"I'm sorry for causing so much trouble to you."

Earth was sharing a bed with Ben. The bed was small, so they had to be close to each other, which didn't bother either of them. They were comfortable with each other.

"It's really no trouble, I promised to help you right?" Ben chuckled as he held Earth close to his side. Something about being close to Earth made his chest all warm. He was now finally able to protect the smaller guy. He felt like he accomplished something, and found someone special, someone to feel warm with.

Was that how love felt like?

"I'm glad you did." Earth huffed out. "I don't know what would have happened if you didn't. I would probably have rotten, drowned in self-loath."

"Well you're with me now, nothing will bother you anymore." Ben smiled and hugged him even closer if possible. 

Little did he know that when they closed their eyes, and fell into dreamland, something wasn't right.

Earth was sleeping, but his mind wasn't.

Not when he could see the bright white eyes glaring at him from the corner of the room.

A crooked smile grinning, white sharp teeth gleaming under the moonlit room.

The clown was back, more vivid than ever.

It will never be over, will it?

I will write an epilogue with how their story will go here on forward.

I probably missed a bunch of things as I never
remember what I write, so if I missed anything super
important, please tell me.
