(Slight trigger warning)

He felt something different than just pure disgust and anger now that he was surrounded by white.

It was a meadow he was standing on, surrounded by several flowers, all white. The flowers peeked through piles of snow, and it seemed to be winter at the time, but he wasn't cold. He didn't recognize what flowers they were since he knew just a few species.

Earth's clothes were white, still, but they were different from the hospital clothing he had to use inside. He somehow enjoyed the paleness of the color, and it didn't feel like he had ever even hated it in the first place.

He stood there, and enjoyed the breeze that flew around him, ruffling his hair in its flow. The wind came from the white clouds, making the leaves covered in snow dangle in the trees nearby the meadow.

Earth looked around to see where he was, but what he saw made him smile. It was that guy, Ben, standing at the edge of the meadow, just mere meters away from him, with a wide smile plastered onto his face.

That brought some sort of happiness into Earth, and he tried taking steps towards Ben but to his surprise, he couldn't move a muscle to make a move.

Ben walked towards him however, the snow around him melting, the flowers changing colors to blue and purple, indigo and violet. It was a beautiful sight and that alone made Earth chuckle giddily.

Ben stopped a few inches away from Earth, his smile staying the same as he reached his arms towards Earth, showing the inner sides of his arms. Earth saw long lines on both of Ben's arms, straight open lines from his wrists to the front of his elbows.

Those lines bubbled a substance that looked like blue and purple mixed paint, that flowed down his arms, all the way to the ground. The ground covered with the liquid quickly, making them both stand in a pool of purple and blue paint.

Earth got to reach forward and touch Ben's arms, but as his fingers made contact with Ben's, Ben's smile faded, and he fell. Fell through the pool of paint, and disappeared into the ground.

Earth gasped, but didn't hear his own voice, like it was sucked by a vacuum. He knelt down onto the pool and took a fistful of the paint, and poured it over his head. The consistency of paint, was almost the same as blood's, and it felt pleasurable when it glided down his face and neck.

It felt good to be surrounded by colors, and flowers.

A hand reached up from the ground and took a hold of Earth's wrist, pulling him down, and through the soil into the depths.

Earth opened his eyes and sat up so quickly that he got dizzy. He held his head, and just sobbed. He wasn't sure why that was, but he just felt like he should. He didn't know what dream he just saw, he didn't remember it well.

He just remembered colors.

And Ben.
