"What happened with Nine was an unfortunate miscalculation." Dome spoke up, his face stern as he clearly didn't want Joong to be here right at this moment.

Joong was clearly crying at this point as he stepped deeper into the room. His hands were shaking as he went closer to Pavel who was standing near Earth, and more importantly, close the metal table. Joong was quick to grab a syringe from the table into his shaking hands.

He grabbed it with both of his hands, pointing it at Dome. He didn't know what was in this syringe, but by the reaction of Dome raising his hands up in the air he figured it was something to be afraid of. "U-Untie h-h-him!"

Dome shook his head, closing his eyes as he let out a sigh. "You know I can't do that."

"N-Now!" Joong raised his voice, his cheeks red and eyes teary as he went closer to Dome.

"Joong." Pavel said with a calm voice as he had gone a little to the side to not be straight in front of Joong, just in case. "You don't have to do this, give me the syringe."

"No!" Joong yelled and ran to Dome, plunging the needle deep into the older's neck, then stepping back quickly.

Dome pulled the needle out of his neck as he let out a low growl of annoyance. "You fucking kids..." He started with a loud tone, but his voice went more and more quiet with every word, until he collapsed to the floor, his eyes still open, looking like he was judging them all, even if unconscious.

Joong gasped out as he tried to process what he had just done. Was Dome dead? No, he was breathing still, but he still looked like he was dead by the looks of it.

As Pavel hurried to help Dome, Joong went to untie Earth from the chair.

Even if Joong was sobbing, the silence between him and Earth was thick and uncomfortable. Neither of them understood how the other was right there, and so on couldn't voice out the thoughts that seemed to weigh their minds.

"Do you know what you just did?" Pavel voiced out from the floor where he was kneeling beside the not moving body of Dome. Pavel picked the boy up and placed him onto the chair Earth just hopped down from. His voice was somehow calm, even if his words still seemed mad. "He just lost all of his memories, forever."

"W-What?" Joong croaked out.

"Yeah, the same happened with Nine. He's not really dead like we told you, he just didn't remember anything, including you. The process was a success, his schizophrenia is no more, but with the price of his memories." Pavel explained as he didn't feel any need to hide this information anymore.

"Y-You tried to... t-take my memories?" Earth gulped.

Pavel nodded as an answer and turned to the two youngsters. "It would have helped you." Pavel said a tear running from his eye, even if his face didn't show off any sadness, nor emotion nonetheless. "Now go, I have to make my husband fall in love with me, again."

"I-I need you to answer t-this one question." Joong wiped the tears from his own cheeks as his skin seemed to only get more red, his eyes puffy. "H-How can Earth be here? H-He was just my... h-hallucination."

"And you were his hallucination. I guess it's a brother thing between you two."

"B-Brother thing?" Earth questioned with a tiny voice.

"Didn't you know?" Pavel let out a dry chuckle. "You two are matching. You're brothers."
