White.
It was all white again.
But it was a different shade. Earth was able to notice.
He wasn't in the same place anymore. Where was he?
He couldn't tell, but the room was awfully similar.
But it wasn't the same.
The wall looked different. His favorite cavity wasn't there.
The door opened, and an odd man walked in. He didn't belong to the familiar staff.
"Good morning, Earth. My name is doctor Dome, and I'm your doctor for your stay in here." The man said with an awfully smooth voice, the white doctor jacket looking professional over his shoulders, a smile so tender grazed over his lips.
"I see you're not much of a talker, but that's fine. Follow me please."
Dome started walking out of the room, and Earth was left to wonder; should he follow this odd man, or should he stay in his room and wait for Ben to make a visit.
He wanted to see Ben.
"You will find answers by following me now." Dome said, not turning while talking, letting Earth do all his decisions by himself.
Earth wasn't sure why, but he got up, and decided to follow this man.
The hallways he walked through, were weird, not at all like in the old place.
The walls were speaking to him, it almost seemed as they moved, like breathing. Like they were alive. It was much noisier, more whispers and yells, feeling like they came really close to him. Must be some the other patients, he thought as an only explanation.
"You were not cared properly in your home country, so we saw necessary to move you here. We, my friend, are in Spain, at the grand psychiatric hospital." Dome introduced. This made no sense to Earth.
"Where's Ben?" Earth asked, voicing out his first words to this new doctor.
Dome slowed down his walking pace, and moved next to Earth, still not looking at him. "I don't know who Ben is, but he's not here. You need to forget him."
Earth stopped.
He wasn't going to forget Ben.
He wanted him here, now.
"No."
"Yes, Earth. You're under hospitalization. You're not allowed to meet with any friends." Dome explained with a sigh. "We'll be doing some tests, a survey, if you will. To map out the specifics of your mental illness."
Earth shook his head and backed away. "No." He repeated and turned around, in hopes of being able to run away, but it was as if everything had changed. That didn't look like the hallway he just walked through.
His ears started ringing, a piercing scream flowing through his head like a needle, making him clasp his ears. It reminded him of his child days.
Earth didn't remember anything after that. It just seemed as if everything had disappeared, because soon he was in a situation where he had to open his eyes. His eyelids seemed heavy, as in he would have slept for a really long time.
As his eyes opened, he saw a bright light, making him squint his eyes and blink rapidly.
He tried moving, scared of his situation. This was new to him, and he didn't like it, at all.
His movements were limited, he noted.
He was strapped into a chair, in a room full of black, a single light bulb over his head.
