It was like a living nightmare that he couldn't escape.

It was as he had given up on any hope that someone would get him out of this darned room.

Ben wasn't coming, was he?

Earth didn't know how long he had been locked up, but it felt like days.

He got food from time to time, but it was fed to him by someone he didn't know. They never exchanged any words, nor even look at each other. Earth didn't want to express his feelings in any way, but he couldn't stop the tears from forming into his eyes over and over again.

He just had too much time to think in this dark room.

Too much time to let his mind wander to places they probably shouldn't.

As Earth heard a door creaking, he thought it to be a hallucination. Why wouldn't it be, isn't everything? Joong, the clown, maybe even Dome was, how would he be able to tell?

"Earth?"

He opened his eyes, feeling his eyelids hardly cooperating. It felt heavy, almost like his eyelids were glued shut. "Whoever you are... you're not real..." Earth said. He was bored of not being able to tell reality from imagination. It was frustrating. "Go away..."

"It's me. Ben."

"It's dark... I can't see anything..."

Soon he was forced to squint his eyes as the lights were turned on in the room he had stayed days in. For the first time, he was able to see what the room looked like, and it wasn't much. It was the same he had been seeing all this time, but now the wall were white instead of black.

He focused his teary eyes at the door. And there he was, Ben, standing there with a worried expression.

In Earth's mind, he was still a hallucination, but this hallucination, he gladly accepted.

"B-Ben..."

The taller male rushed to Earth and knelt next to him, placing his hand over the other's quivering one. Ben was able to see how Earth's wrists were red from all the restraints. It made him sick to know how he was forced to be in this condition.

Earth gasped airily when he felt the other's touch, it seemed so real. "D-Did you... come to save me?"

Earth saw how Ben's eyes widened for just a little while, as he opened his mouth to speak, but closed it immediately. When Ben shook his head, Earth's heart sank.

"No I... Just came to see how you were holding up." Ben said, trying to avoid eye contact for some reason.

"There's something else... isn't there..." Earth looked down to Ben who was kneeling on the floor next to him. Something was wrong, he could feel it. Ben wasn't usually this, withdrawn

Earth jolted as Ben made a quick decision to stand up, but that wasn't the part that made Earth jolt. It was the expression Ben had, the seriousness of it. Ben was never serious around him, and Earth didn't like serious people, they all made him feel like he was abnormal, and weird.

"I can't see you anymore, Earth."

Earth blinked in confusion, as he wasn't fully getting it. "What, is there something wrong with your eyes-?"

"No, Earth, this is the last time I'm seeing you."

"W-What?" Earth huffed out, now making full eye contact with Ben. "N-No... You... You can't leave me! You can't l-leave me here!" His eyes started forming new tears, making him surprised that he was even able to cry anymore at this point. He thought all the tears would have dried off by now.

"I need to." Ben said and walked to the door, holding his finger on top of what seemed to be a light switch. "I'm sorry."

Everything went black, the door was opened, and once again closed, leaving Earth crying his heart out in the engulfing darkness.

It was not his heart that got crushed today, it was his whole world that seemed to shatter away to the ever loving depths of this very room.
