weeks had gone by and the two are back at their state again being best of friends. Though of course, donghyuck still tried hiding his feelings for the latter. But for now, he was happy. He was happy for their friendship and he's not gonna let his feelings get in the way for their friendship.

maybe, just maybe, with this keeping up, he'll be able to forget his feelings.

"pack your stuffs because we'll go to Chicago in three days." everyone cheered in excitement and thinking about what to buy from a mall to bring to Chicago. 

"hyuck.. let's go later at the mall to buy stuffs shall we?" which donghyuck nodded in response.

"taeil hyungg~ wanna come with us later?" donghyuck hugged taeil which made mark crease his forehead. He thought Donghyuck and him will be alone and spend time with his best friend.

Mark felt like a boyfriend with his girlfriend bringing up her bestfriend in a mall whilst he hold the paper bags.

though right now, he's getting kinda jealous of the two. The two were so happy.

Donghyuck noticed how empty Mark's stare was.

"do you need help with the bags?" he asked. 

"no. I'm tired. Can we go back already" mark bluntly said.

"hyung do you need anything more?" donghyuck turned to taeil which taeil shooked his head in response.

mark quickly walks ahead to the parking not wanting to witness the two. He doesn't even know why.

they got home with Mark not talking to him and it made him annoyed.

the two are now roommates but donghyuck noticed how his mark is still not present.

'probably talking to his girlfriend'

but something urged the tanned male to find his best friend.

and he was correct, mark was at the balcony. He was observing if mark has his phone and he will leave but gladly, no signs at all.

he went towards the latter quietly.

"hyung"  he went beside mark making mark look at him startled and look away. "hyung are you okay?" which led a sigh in response. 

he couldn't understand himself these days.

"how are you and mina?" mark was shocked at what the younger asked.

"you knew she was my girlfriend?" breaking, the younger tried his best to smile. "of course, it was written all over you and her face." he teased him.

"I miss her. her hugs, her kisses." donghyuck was shaking. It was his fault for asking anyway. For mark, it's really not mainly because of mina. It's because.. actually he doesn't know himself. Mark hugged him. It felt more right with the younger but he ignored it. 

yet on the other hand, the other was suffocating. He was suffocated at the feeling he felt useless. 'so was I just some thing to fill your needs?' 

donghyuck's hitting mark in the arm as a sign of letting go. the two broke the sudden contact as donghyuck sat up straight. 

"call her."

"she's asleep"

"I'm off then" donghyuck turned back. He needs to go back.

donghyuck was overthinking he didn't notice someone going in with that someone tugging himself and hugged donghyuck.

"mark what the fuck?" the younger whispered-yell at the latter's sudden action.

"shh.. just sleep." 

'you miss her too much, don't you?'

he gave up and let himself lull to sleep.

donghyuck wakes up feeling a heavy body in his. With wide eyes, he pushed the sleeping male's arm away making mark fall.

"hyung oh my god I'm so sorry.." donghyuck apologized in panic

"shit my back" mark winced in pain. Realizing what he just did last night made him countlessly apologize.

"no I'm so sorry for sleeping in the same bed. shit" donghyuck actually didn't mind at all.

"hyung it's fine" 'cause to be honest, he wanted it to happen again

"y'all we're going to our hometown" Johnny announces happily.

"oi that's nice" mark added.

"what are we going to do there though?" which Johnny shrugged saying "i don't know"

timing in, the manager announces that they'll be going to Chicago tomorrow midnight.

location ; airport  ·  time ; 23:30

they were now at the airport just waiting for the flight when Donghyuck's phone rang indicating a text message was sent to him.
