it's their last day at neo city tour and Donghyuck is back at his state again. He was excited seeing their fans and it's a very astounding feeling. He was always overwhelmed with the love and support their fans are giving them. The beautiful green shining through his eyes, people chanting at them, it was too much to take in.

He was thankful. He didn't knew he was going to be blessed with such success. He also remembered how he first met Mark. He looked up to him so much. The patience, the leadership, everything in him, he's fully capable.

this was the first time the tanned male genuinely smiled whilst reminiscing memories without any feelings involved. He love the friendship with nct, with Mark.

he felt peaceful for once. Just reminiscing friendships.

with this, the male has lull into dreamland.

"Haechanie, we're here" with one eye opening, Donghyuck hums in response.

He got up with the first thing he saw was Mark busy on his phone, texting his girlfriend or whatever it is. The two made eye contact and Donghyuck quickly turned his back and went out. Crying won't help anything so he gave up and just sighed. he's not gonna let a Mark Lee ruin his day.

the concert was over and Haechan could still feel the adrenaline rush. It was fun. He didn't have to think about the stressful things that's lingering in his heart.

yet with every happiness there's always an ending to it.

after they got off their bus, Mark hurriedly went to the hotel they were staying at and Donghyuck noticed how he picked up a call whilst soft muttering the word "hey".

sighing, the latter lazily went back to their room having Taeyong as his roommate. The leader, noticing how Donghyuck is down and gloomy again, decided to hug the latter whilst saying "cuddles?"

They don't usually cuddle but whenever these times come, cuddling with members was one of the best thing, they all feel the love in spite of them being grown up men and being shy.

they spend the rest of their night cuddling and eventually falling asleep.

"good mor-- oh" Mark was astounded with the sight he didn't expect. He was used to Haechan being clingy but not this cuddly with others. The now black haired male was so used to Donghyuck and him cuddling every night. Haechan will sneak into Mark's room if they weren't paired as roommates and if Mark's roommate isn't there cause God knows where, and vice versa.

Donghyuck was the first one to wake up. Startled, both are now gazing at one another. Donghyuck feeling the awkwardness, broke off the staring contest they're having, slowly patting the sleeping Taeyong beside him to wake him up.

Taeyong got up and muttered an "oh, hi Mark" which Mark responded, "it's breakfast time."  Taeyong got up going to the bathroom.

"you can go now hyung." Donghyuck speaking coldly while covering his whole body with comforter. Mark is so worried for hyuck. for them. He doesn't even know what made his best friend act distant with him but he knew he missed the giddy Haechan that keeps on clinging to him and saying pet names even if he kind of hated it sometimes, but he missed his Haechan.

Mark went to the bed where Donghyuck is at and sat looking at the covered male fondly. 'cute'

"hyuck let's talk." the latter pulling the comforter from his face. His colored brunette hair covering his eyes made Mark brush the younger's hair unfolding his beauty. the contact made hyuck shriek and blush in crimson red.

"leave me alonee" the younger whined making the older giggle. He was afraid Mark could hear his heart loudly thumping so he broke the quietness yet because of panicking, his tongue slipped and said,

"stop confusing me" and coincidentally, Taeyong got out from the shower which good thing Mark immediately sat straight when Taeyong was just drying his hair with towel making him not able to see for a moment. When done, the newly bathed male was shock seeing Mark with Donghyuck.

Donghyuck quickly gets in the shower not wanting to answer anything if Mark asks what it meant. he scolded himself, 'what the fuck Lee Donghyuck' and leaving the older even more confused.

meanwhile, Taeyong and Mark stood there and Taeyong breaking off the silence because of how the leader noticed the baffled Mark, slings his arms into the younger's shoulder.

"let's go aye?"

the whole breakfast was Donghyuck being in his natural state and kept being giddy whilst Mark kept staring at his food with a clouded mind.

he stood up leaving the dinner table which shocked the members. Donghyuck looked at the leaving male biting his bottom lip. 'was it because of me?'

Donghyuck went and looked for Mark and saw him at the corridor

talking to someone..

'of course it won't be because of me. why would it be me.' and with that, the sad male turned around and went to his bedroom.

Mark on the other hand was talking to mina.

"Markkk.. i miss you so much" Mark smiled at his girl's cuteness and muttered "i miss you too"

it all started when their manager talked them about emceeing 'music core'. everybody saw their chemistry, including them. Mina is undoubtedly beautiful and it already made Mark flutter and mina felt the same way for the latter.

"I'll see you again tomorrow. I really missed you." giggled the girl on the other line. "yes and I wanna see you too"

and the conversation went on and on.
