Mark was preparing for 'music core' and is glad to see his girlfriend he misses.

NCT Dream is preparing too.

on the other hand, Haechan, the brunette with colored highlights lazily gets ready.

'the fuck I'm always exhausted for.' complained the tanned male. 

They were fully dressed and prepared that now it was time to go. Haechan still being in his room so Chenle screamed for him to go out already while he yelled "OKAY" back. Haechan only thought, 'geez, I feel bad for the others' ears'

Mark still didn't go into the van to wait for his best friend still holding the car door.

finally, Donghyuck rushed going in and they are now heading to music core.

Donghyuck just noticed he was beside Mark and he felt an instant jolt when Mark's bare thighs came in contact with his. He felt an instant shiver and heat rushing to his cheeks with the accidental skinship.

the ride is really long and Mark felt sleepy. With his husky voice, he sleepily, "I'll lay my head on your shoulders." the flustered male couldn't respond as the sleepy male already slept in his shoulders.

Donghyuck awkwardly sat still with loud thumping in his chest. The deafening silence made Donghyuck nervously hoped no one can hear how his heart beats hastily even with the dreamies asleep and it's him and just the driver awake. Good thing their driver is really focused on his driving and doesn't notice the blushing male.

the whole ride, donghyuck couldn't sleep cause he doesn't wanna wake the latter and also because his mind and heart are fully awake.

"hyung, we're here" Mark blinks rapidly as a sign he's woken up. He languidly looked at his best friend and whispered, "thank you hyuckie" whilst ruffling the colored highlighted brunette making him blush in roseate.

this is making my fucked up mind insane. God, stop with these mixed signals Mark.. it's making me insane it hurts.

"hey Haechan" Donghyuck was pulled by the manager giving him flowers. "mind being the one giving this to Ong Seongwoo" donghyuck bowed accepting the offer.

Jaemin looking back at the tanned male asked "what is that for?" Donghyuck winked and squealed "the manager told to give this bouquet to Ong Seongwoo hyung"

"ayee your crush omg" the dreamies knew Haechan admires wanna one's Ong Seongwoo except for Mark because of how seldom Mark spends time with the dreamies because of so many works tho he does text them and visits to the dreamies' dorm sometimes. Thus, donghyuck doesn't want to let Mark know. 

"it's so weird for you to be calling it a 'crush'. I admire him yes, but the term, Jaemin lol" and Jaemin rolled his eyes but laughed

whilst at the backstage, Donghyuck seem to noticed how Mark was eyeing someone and when he looked where his best friend is looking, he went pale when the girl was shyly gazing at Mark too. He had a hunch, and he was scared of his hunch.

the whole music core was Donghyuck couldn't focus on anything but the two. Something about the look they're exchanging feels something.

the two stealing glances at each other made subtly Donghyuck roll his eyes. It was indeed, a nerve-wrecking sight for the tanned male.

'I won't think about you Mark lee right now. For now, I'll focus on Seongwoo hyung' thought himself.

it was almost the end of the show and the dreamies went to the stage along with other idols and it's the time he needs to give the flowers.

with Mina and Mark giving a speech about Ong Seungwoo's last mc in the music core, Haechan took the opportunity to give the flowers and had eye contact with his sunbae he admires.

the flustered male couldn't help his fanboying and blushed. Mark looking over at his best friend confusedly yet smiled.

Donghyuck got flustered more with the sudden eye contact with Mark. Haechan saw confusion in the older's eyes.

when the show ended and for them to go backstage, donghyuck found the older so snuggly and unconsciously hugged him. Mark smiled at the younger's cuteness. No matter what.. Mark is still his best friend and with no feelings attached, he missed annoying the older.

but not everything lasts..

going backstage, donghyuck heard a two voice talking in a one room. He's passing by anyway yet when he saw the sign on the door telling 'mcs' donghyuck furrowed his eyes. Good thing the door is slightly open. Curiously, donghyuck peeked through and what he witnessed instantly made his eyes dwell in tears.

it was her

just.. talking.. the couple seem to be sincerely talking to each other with Mark playing with the girl's hair. no kissing nor being so clingy but them talking pained donghyuck more. Their relationship seems very serious and no doubt they'll take long. Communication was building them.

before, Mark and him was the only one who communicates well and trusted each other. he missed being the one that Mark only sincerely talk to.

donghyuck had a hunch. He was afraid of his hunch and hoped.. yet just as then, the couple stood up and arms locking, it's finally confirmed.

donghyuck jolted out of the building crying. He went out the fire exit not wanting to get back with others.

"WHERE IS DONGHYUCK??" the leader panicked as one of their members went gone. It's been exactly 30 minutes since they're waiting.

(NCT 127 was there to perfom too but they parted ways with the dreamies because Haechan and Mark are in 127 dorm)

Mark aggressively grabbed his phone dialing the missing male several times. When no one's picking up, he frustratedly pulled his hair.

donghyuck kept getting calls and texts from their members and since he didn't want to worry the others, he finally texted Taeyong
