Fucked up wouldn't explain the situation I am currently in. A busted lip, a broken thumb and arms full of red claw marks, that's more than just fucked up. But I was smiling. No, I haven't lost my mind, I was smiling at the thought of Tris's face. More like what I have done to her perfect face.

***

1 hour earlier...

" You're dead." Tris seethed, raising her fist, again, at me. I easily caught her fist with one hand.

" You don't know who you have played with, bitch. Now, it's time for payback." I snarled before my fist collided with her face for the second time. But this time, the thing that broke was her jaw.

She was in pain but that didn't stop her. The next thing I know, I was pushed down to the floor with Tris over me, throwing punches all over my face. I realized my lips were busted when I started to taste blood. She got tired eventually and her moves faltered.

I took that opportunity to flip us over. Now, I was on top of her, throwing my fair share of punches all over her face. All I saw was red. Literally and metaphorically. There was blood staining my knuckles and Tris's face.

Still, it didn't help much in subsiding the anger that rose within me. I needed some kind of release from all the pent-up frustration and angst. And now, Tris was helping me out with that case. I didn't realize that we were attracting an audience, who were very much amused by our catfight.

I kept smashing Tris's face to a pulp, that was until someone pried me off her. The vice-principal stood there with anger and disappointment clearly written all over her face.

Shit.

I looked away from her accusing stare, only to face Tris, who was being helped by her minions to get up. That's when I saw the damages I have done to her. She sported a black eye along with a bloodied crooked (or maybe broken) nose. Her lips had a deep cut too. Well, she deserved it.

Bitch.

As you guessed, Tris was taken o the hospital followed by Asher, whose face had no emotions throughout our little escapade. And I was kicked out of the place along with Raven. Looks like while I was 'busying' myself with Tris, Raven, on the other hand, was 'handling' Tris's minions, as they looked battered too. Sisters' goals, isn't it?

When we were outside, questions started to pile in my head.

Was I guilty?

Nope.

Did I do something wrong?

Oh, hell no.

What about the people at school?

Do I seem like I care?

What about my reputation?

You know you don't give a flying fuck about it, Hazel. Now stop pestering me.

Okay, okay. Chill out. Geez...

I huffed and plopped down on the pavement floor. Raven sat beside me, not uttering a word. Silence greeted us as we stared at the sky above. The night was so calm and...quiet. And there was me and my mind, anything but calm. My mind kept racing until I couldn't take it any longer.

Silence is deafening, huh?

Shut up.

Okay.

" You know what, screw this," I said out of nowhere. Raven scrutinized at me, raising an eyebrow. She was eerily quiet, I was not used to this kind of Raven. Maybe things were running in her head too. "Let's get drunk," I gave the game away. A smirk crept to Raven's lips slowly turning into a mischievous grin.
