Part seven

Your POV

Once Barry opened the door I ran out of there as fast as possible still invisible.
Later I heard the news about him and that tony guy.

I felt nauseous.
I took a shower and ate something.
Since what Felicity said about how i need to eat more for my body to keep up that's what i've been trying to do.

I have to go back there.

The next day

I noticed that my name tag for work was gone, I assumed it had fallen out of my pocket at star labs.

I had a half assed plan that I wasn't even sure would work, I was thinking about writing a note and asking for my name tag back because I needed it for work and then when whoever reads it looks around for me i'd just show up around the corner. Not sure what would stop them from shooting me with a dart again but here goes I guess.

I became invisible and ran back there.
I focused on staying invisible this time. It was kind of hard but only because I had to really focus. If I don't let my guard down then i'll be fine.

Barry was training, Caitlin was doing her own thing, and Cisco was looking for any robbery's or fires, something for Barry to save.

I found a paper and pen and went around the corner behind a wall so that they wouldn't see a pen just writing itself.

"can i have my name tag back i kinda need it for my job"
I rushed over to the desk Cisco was at and slipped the note and pen next to him.

I was still invisible so I just waited for him to read it.

He was reading it and stood up looking around him, I was about to become visible then he called Barry and Caitlin over.
I decided to just wait till they read it too.

"Guys..." he said

Barry and Caitlin walked over.
He gave them the note to both read.
"Do you think it's from the meta from yesterday?" Caitlin asked

I became visible, "you guys still have it right please tell you do I think they make me pay for another one."

Everyone looked at me and Barry ran and brought Cisco this big gun.
Damn.

"Woahhhh okay guys no need for all that." I said tryna calm the situation down

Barry stepped towards me.
He got hella close to me.

"What's your name." He asked me

"You have my name tag don't you, it's y/n."

"How do you know felicity, do you know Oliver too?" I felt like I was being interrogated.

"Oliver is my cousin and Felicity is my best friend. Felicity told me about you guys actually. That's why i'm here."

"Oliver's cousin? Like the one who's family died in that house fire?" Cisco said

I turned to him annoyed at the question, I don't like when people bring up the past. When they bring up my past.

I just nodded at him.

The week it happened all I saw on the news was people talking about how  "the queen family suffers terrible loss." Yeah they lost them too but what about me.  My parents died and everyone assumed my sister did too. Never found a body though. They assumed she started the fire so she got the worse of it which is why they never found a body.
I don't think Harper started the fire though, I don't even think she died in it.

"So you have super speed and can turn invisible?" Cisco asked

"Yeah I figured it out a week or two ago and then I heard about the mysterious blur going around saving people." I told them I followed Barry here and saw who he was then I went to felicity and she just told me what I needed to know.

Didn't want them thinking Felicity told me herself they probably wouldn't trust her then.

"So you've been having dizzy spells." Caitlin said

"Uh yeah actually Felicity told me that it was because my body couldn't keep up or something like that." I said

Cisco tossed me this protein bar and said he made it for Barry to keep him from passing out.
Surprisingly looked pretty good.

"Who is this?" Harrison wells came in.

"This is Y/n," Caitlin said "she was affected by the particle accelerator explosion like Barry. And like Barry she has super speed, and she can turn invisible."

I greeted him and saw him eyeing me.

"So, what now?"
I asked

"Well I need to run some tests on you first and then we can see how fast you run."Caitlin said

"Bet faster than him." I pointed to Barry smiling

"Yeah we'll see about that." He laughed
