Scarlet Speedsters

Part 11

They let me out of my cell yesterday.
{reading that sentence again it sounds so... idk just not what I meant it to😂}

I found out that I got a call from work, i called back quickly and told them I had a family emergency. My boss believed me and told me I could come back tomorrow.
I am going to get fired; it's bound to happen sooner or later.

Right now I'm in bed watching Netflix.
Luna is sleeping on my stomach.

I heard a knock on the door and Luna woke up.
I laid her down on my blanket.
While walking to the door I put my hair in a bun.

I looked through the peephole and was surprised to see Oliver on the other side of the door.

I opened the door and moved aside so he could come in.
"Hey Oliver what's up!?" I smiled closing the door.

Luna walked over to us and laid on my feet.
One of his arms was behind his back.

"Hungry?" He asked pulled out Chinese.

"Yes!!" I jumped and we went to the kitchen.

Luna got scared by my jumping and ran to her bed which was besides mine. She only sleeps in it when she's too lazy to jump on my bed.

I got out two water bottles and handed him one.
We sat down and started to eat.

"Hey Ollie... can I talk to you about something?" I asked him.

I wanted to try telling him about my powers...

"Sure." He set his chopsticks down.

"Well, I-" I couldn't do it

"I was wondering, do you think Harper died in the fire? They never found her body. I just can't stop thinking that there might be a chance she's still alive." I just couldn't tell him.

He sighed.
"I mean there could be a possibility, but I wouldn't get your hopes up." He said

I looked down for a second and back up.

"Yeah, thanks. I was just wondering..." my voice softened as I said this.

I went back to eating and I changed the subject so it would be less awkward.

An hour later

After eating we watched tv and just talked.
He soon got a call and said that he had to leave.

"I'll talk to you tomorrow." He said and hugged me.

He left and I didn't know what to do.
So, I decided to take a shower and go to star labs.

Barry was at work, he is a CSI.
Cisco wanted to train.

Dr. Wells came in while I was running on the treadmill.
My eyes made my way towards Dr. Wells.

I was still running and facing forwards but my eyes were on him.

He leaned forward a little bit, he was looking at the computer, as was Cisco.

His eyes widened and when he noticed he did that he went back to his normal, non emotional face.

I ignored it and my eyes looked at the wall ahead of me and I continued running.

One hour later

Cisco was on coms and Caitlin was looking at Barry's vitals and all that technical stuff.

I stopped running a few minutes ago because I was exhausted! I sat down on the bed in the medical bay chugging a bottle of water.

"Slow down with it, don't wanna choke." Dr. Wells said passing by me.

Creepy...
They way he said it was like... I don't know. I shuddered when I thought of it.
Thea texted me while Wells, Cisco, and Caitlin were watching the screens.

"How are you doing?"
She texted me
"I'm actually doing great! How about you speedy?" I smiled to myself while typing 'speedy'.
We texted back and forth for a while just talking, catching up, stuff like that.
I stopped texting her when Barry said something over his coms..

"Guys.... I don't have my speed." He said quietly.

Everything was quiet.
I ran over to where Barry was.

He was freaking out.
He was trying to vibrate his hand and tried to run.

I slowly walked over to him and he looked behind me.

He pushed me out of the way and got struck with a big amount of electricity...

The guy who did it ran away.

I picked him up and ran us over to star labs.

Dr.Wells wheeled over to the medical bay as everyone ran towards us.

He leaned forward, something weird happened though...
His foot... it moved.

When he leaned forward his foot moved off of the liners under his feet.

I'm not going crazy I swear to god!
I walked around the cortex with my hands up on my head.

"Is he going to be okay?" I asked worriedly.
"This is all my fault..." I quietly said.

Cisco walked over to me and pulled me to the side.

"Hey it's not your fault okay? If he didn't do that then something worse might have happened to you. You might have lost your speed too." Cisco said

I nodded and hugged him
"Thanks, I'm just worried." I said

We pulled away and he put his hand in my shoulder.
He walked back to help Caitlin.

Dr.Wells wheeled his way over to me.
Is he even paralyzed?

I'm going to hell if he is though.
I was a huge fan of him, honest! But he's just being really suspicious...

"Barry seems to have a liking to you," he said.

"I may have only met him not even a month ago but I already know he would I do that for anyone." I said.

He just nodded and said a slight "mhmm" then went to the other side of the room.
