Dear diary,
I finally got the response I've been waiting for. It wasn't what I wanted to hear, though. She told me that we weren't supposed to be together. We both have kingdoms to serve and protect and that was her priority. She told me that we're better off as friends.
It hurts to hear her words, but I respected her decisions. To be honest, she was the first ever person that I've fallen for. It was unexpected, but it was the greatest thing to have ever happened to me. If I didn't fall for Y/n, I wouldn't know what it feels like to love and care for someone deeply. I've done everything to make her happy, to make her forget about her problems and that was enough to keep me contented. Even though she isn't mine, I'll always stick by her side. I love her.
