"Guys!"

A familiar voice shouted over and over again.

"Guys! Come on, get up!"

Lucy opened her eyes, and sprung up in her sleeping bag. Mirajane's voice repeated over and over again, until the blonde realized everyone else was probably awake except for her and Natsu.

"W-we'll be out in a minute!" Lucy shouted back. She looked down at the sleeping Natsu, his arm wrapped around her waist. The sight made her smile like crazy.

"Natsu? Natsu...?" The blonde poked his cheek to wake him.

The pink haired boy just rolled over to face the other way.

"Natsu!" Lucy whispered in his ear as she shook him.

"Ugh..." He groggily opened his eyes.

"Natsu! Everyone has been up for god knows how long! They're gonna be suspicious!" Lucy whispered aggressively.

"Oh, right. I forgot everyone else is here..." He slowly sat up, combing through his hair with his fingers.

"Also...about last night, I think it would be best if we kept it a secret for now." Lucy leaned over to him and whispered.

"Why? I don't think anyone will care..."

"Maybe we can tell them when we get back to school or something, maybe in a few weeks. I don't know, on my first day Levy warned me about you...I don't want her to think I just ignored her..."

"Wait what did Lev-"

"Shh! You're talking too loud! I'll tell you later if you keep your mouth shut." Lucy whispered as she put her finger to his lips.

"Yeah I guess, that's fair. I'll just act natural." Natsu gave a thumbs up, Lucy giving a small eye roll in response.

They both quickly got dressed and joined their friends outside. Everyone was sitting around the un-lit fire pit, where they were last night.

"Took you guys long enough." Gray said as the two sat down.

"Yeah...we accidentally slept in." Lucy said, tying her hair up in a side ponytail. "I didn't realize it was so late already."

Gray let out a small laugh. "Y'all up late last night?"

"W-what? No! I'll have you know Natsu almost immediately passed out." Lucy crossed her arms and pouted. She could feel her cheeks getting hot.

"Whatever you say." The raven haired boy waved his hand at Lucy.

Erza suddenly stood up. "Well since everyone is here, I for one, think we should go on a hike! It'd be a missed opportunity if we came all this way and didn't take a chance to look at the beautiful scenery."

"A fantastic idea." Jellal agreed.

The group seemed to agree as well and they started their route on the hiking trail. It was only supposed to be a mile or two long, so it wouldn't be too long or too short. As they started out walking, Lucy made sure to keep her distance from Natsu, not wanting to draw attention to the both of them. Instead she walked with Levy at the very back of the group. Levy waited until everyone was a good distance ahead of them, so nobody could hear their conversation.

"So Lu, how was staying the night with Dragneel?" Levy asked, keeping her voice down. "I've been dying to know just how obnoxious he's been. I wish you could've stayed with me, but Mira already called the extra spot in my tent."

"I mean, it really hasn't been that bad." Lucy looked away. "The worst thing he does is rushes me when I change."

"Wow, I expected staying with him to be a total nightmare." The blue haired girl giggled. "Good to know someone can stand being around him so long. He's a great friend and all, I just wouldn't want to be stuck staying with him all night, you know?"
