Chapter 12 ♡: Double Date Night

"Hey guys, we're here!" Lucy shouted as her and Natsu ran up to Gray and Juvia who waited outside the movie theater. Today was the double date, and they had planned for a simple day: going to the movies and then going to dinner.

"Ah, I'm so excited!" Juvia exclaimed, clinging onto Gray's arm.

The raven haired boy stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Just so we're clear, this is just a date, we're not dating..."

"Awe, don't be like that, Gray." Lucy playfully  nudged him on the shoulder as the four went to stand in line for tickets. According to Natsu, Gray has never gone out with a girl before...this should be interesting.

"So what movie are we watching...?" Natsu asked since it was almost their turn at the ticket booth.

"S-sonic!" Juvia blurted out. "Gray promised me..."

"Right, okay." Natsu nodded as he got two tickets for the movie. "You better at least pay for her ticket, Gray." He whispered as he walked past Gray to wait off to the side with Lucy.

"O-of course I am! I'm not an idiot, I know how dates work..." Gray whispered back.

Gray got their tickets, and the four walked off to the theater to get seats. They ended up sitting in one of the middle rows of the theater, and sat in the order: Natsu, Lucy, Juvia and Gray.

"Are you one of those people that talks in the movie theater during movies...?" Lucy turned to Natsu after they took their seats.

"He definitely is." Gray chimed in.

"Am not! I don't do that...?" Natsu crossed his arms.

"Then what about that one time you-"

"Shh, guys, the movie's starting!" Juvia whispered loudly.

The lights in the theater shut off slowly, and the opening scene came on. As the movie progressed, Natsu reached for Lucy's hand. Although they had been dating for a while at this point, his touch never failed to still give her butterflies.

About halfway through the movie, Lucy discreetly looked over towards Gray and Juvia, catching Gray awkwardly holding Juvia's hand. The blue haired girl had just about the biggest smile Lucy had ever seen. The blonde turned towards Natsu, giving a smile and a small thumbs up. Natsu also looked over at Gray, understanding what Lucy meant and returned the thumbs up as he wiggled his eyebrows a bit.

As the movie came to an end, the four got up and exited. Juvia and Lucy were behind the guys walking out and the blue haired girl leaned over to Lucy to whisper quietly to her. "Gray held my hand almost the whole time! I'm so happy!"

"I'm happy for you, Juvia!" The girls quietly squealed together.

The group exited the movie theater building, planning on going to the restaurant next door to eat. They walked in and got seated immediately, since it wasn't a very busy night.

"So, how did you guys like the movie?" Juvia asked as the four sat down.

"It was alright." Gray said, bluntly.

"I liked it!" The blonde exclaimed.

"Yeah, same." Natsu said last.

"Hey guys, I'll be back I'm going to the restroom." Lucy stood up and walked off.

She planned on just washing her hands before they ate. She walked in, and turned the sink on. Shortly after, a girl walked out of one of the stalls, washing her hands next to Lucy. The blonde looked up to see a girl with short white hair, Lisanna.
