"So I'm guessing this whole thing is still a secret?"
Natsu asked as if he already knew the answer. Him and Lucy were on their way to class, since it was their first day back after spring break.
"Yeah, f-for now. I just want to find the right time to tell everyone." The blonde looked down at the concrete sidewalk, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Sure, it's whatever you're most comfortable with." Natsu said with a smile.
The two walked inside the building, preparing to split ways.
"I'll see you for lunch, Natsu." The blonde gave a wave and walked down an opposite hallway.
Spring break really was too short...I'm so not ready to sit in class again...
Lucy walked down the hall to her advanced writing class, lost in thought. At least she had this class with Levy, so her day wouldn't start out too boring. The blonde walked in the class and took a seat next to her blue haired friend.
"Hey Lu." Levy greeted, her notebooks already out, prepared to take notes.
"Hey Lev. Lucy let out a long sigh.
"Not ready for class again, I'm assuming?"
"Not at all. Our trip was way too fun." The blonde rested her head on her arm on the desk. "Thanks for inviting me, by the way. I know I'm still pretty new."
"Of course, not inviting you was out of the question. You're one of us now." Levy gave a sincere smile. "I still can't believe you survived sharing a tent with...Natsu." She let out a small laugh.
"It really wasn't that bad, Lev!" Lucy playfully nudged Levy. "Besides, it's not like I had another choice."
"Well, I'm just glad..." Levy trailed off her sentence as her eyes shot towards the door.
Lucy noticed the very tall Gajeel walking in the room. The blonde almost forgot he was also in their class, since he was a year ahead of them and this was an advanced class. He walked towards the girls, sitting on the other side of Levy, his chains jingling as he sat.
"Lev, are you okay?" The blonde waved a hand in front of her friend's red face.
"Oh, um, yes! Sorry, I just zoned out for a bit!" Levy exclaimed laughing nervously.
Oh, she must like him...why else would she be blushing...? Lucy thought with a small smile on her face.
After class, the girls went their separate ways since Lucy had to go to another building for her next class. She stepped outside, making it about halfway through campus before a tall guy with golden hair approached her.
He seemed confident, with a smirk on his face. "Now, who are you? I've never seen you before."
"Um...I'm Lucy. I'm still kind of new here though." The blonde looked away, feeling uncomfortable as he crept forward.
"Ah, I see. I don't know how I could've missed a cutie like you all this time." The guy grabbed one of Lucy's wrists and pushed up his glasses with the other hand.
The blonde backed up a few steps, but backed into a fence that blocked off some landscaping. "Um...I really need to get to class now..."
"Aww, that's no fun. How about the two of us ditch and go somewhere a bit more romantic?" He leaned his arm onto the fence, leaning closer to Lucy.
"...As if I'd go out with you!" Lucy stammered, leaning her body towards the fence to avoid being so close to him.
"Well, why n-" The guy was quickly interrupted by a voice shouting his name, angrily.
