Chapter 4 ♡: Arrival

Lucy got out of the car and stretched.

"Finally!" She exclaimed. They just arrived at the campsite, and it seemed everyone else had gotten there first and already set up their stuff.

"Hey guys! What took you so long?" Mira ran over to Natsu's car, dressed in a swimsuit.

"Ask her, she took ages to get ready." Natsu teased, pointing at Lucy.

"Did not!" The blonde pouted.

Mirajane laughed. "Well, hurry up and set up your tent, we're going swimming soon!"

"Awesome, sounds great Mira!" Lucy said, helping Natsu get their stuff out of the car.

Natsu put up their tent, as Lucy watched, since she had never done it before.

"There, it's done." He said, as they brought their bags inside.

"Hey, can you get out for a sec? I'm changing into my swimsuit to join the others." Lucy asked.

"Fine, just don't take forever this time." Natsu complained, stepping out.

The blonde took her clothes off and changed into a hot pink bikini, tying her hair up in low pigtails. Seconds later, she unzipped the tent door.

"There I'm ready, I tried to be quick this time." Lucy said with a pout. She stepped out and crossed her arms.

Natsu turned around and faced the blonde, his eyes widening. A small blush spread across his cheeks, no words coming out of his mouth.

"Natsu?" The blonde asked, walking towards him.

"I-uh...nothing." Natsu avoided eye contact and stepped in the tent himself. "I'll be back, I'm getting changed too."

Okay...that was weird.

A few seconds later, Natsu stepped out of the tent as well. He looked good, wearing his scarf around his head, and red swim trunks. Lucy tried not to stare too much, but he had a really nice body that Lucy was unaware of until this moment.

The two caught up with the rest of their friends at the lake, a short walk from where their tents were.

"Hey you guys!" Levy called. Everybody was in the water except Gray and Jellal. Lucy ran over to her blue-haired friend and sat with her in the water.

"Lu, you look fantastic!" Levy exclaimed.

"Awe, thanks Levy." The blonde replied, sitting down in the shallow area of the water with her.

Mirajane walked over and joined the two girls. "Yeah Lucy! I don't know how Natsu hasn't made a move on you yet~"

"Mira! Stop it!!" Lucy shouted with embarrassment as Mirajane laughed.

"Just kidding!" The platinum haired girl teased.

Suddenly, the girls felt large splashes coming their way from afar.

"LUCY!!"

Natsu came by and quickly scooped the blonde up in his arms, taking her to the deeper water.

"N-Natsu! What are you doing?!" Lucy shouted angrily.

"You're going swimming with me!" Natsu said with an evil grin, throwing her in the water.

Lucy came up to the surface. "What was that for, you idiot?!" She gave him a giant splash back.

"Just cause I wanted to." Natsu said, still grinning like crazy. They messed around in the water a bit longer, splashing each other.
