Zelda's Perspective:

I didn't know how long Link held me. I was curled on my side and his body wrapped around mine, curling around me and holding me gently again. His thumbs traced patterns on my shoulder while I relished the silence between us. I leaned against him more so I could feel his warm breath on the back of neck, like a small reminder that it was him and he was still here.

My inner thighs were still wet, making me shift a bit at the new sensation. Before today, the only time I had felt my sexual arousal was due to my own fingers and there I had the luxury of being able to wash myself. The humid air clung to me and I breathed in deeply, allowing my sweat to bead at my skin so I maybe had something else to focus on, opposed for the burning butterflies I felt in my stomach.

I sat up slowly and smiled gently, looking back at Link's face. He rarely seemed so relaxed, a lazy smile pulling at his lips and making his eyes shine. For the first time, he seemed clingy, hand tightening on mine and refusing to let go, his brows furrowing just enough to let me know that he would only be letting go of me if he absolutely had to. I also felt reluctant to release him, but I handed him his clothes.

"You need to get dressed," I reminded him gently and he pouted dramatically. I tugged away and he reluctantly released me, slipping on his shirt and tunic (which I had returned). He waited until I had pulled on the top half of my clothes to grab my hand again, fingers interlacing. I smiled but didn't let go, struggling to pull in my pants with one hand but still eventually getting it.

We walked back up to the ground level, finding the Rito guards waiting with Epona and Storm. Both horses huffed indignantly when they saw us, stomping their feet as if to say, "You really made us wait in the cold?!"

I nodded a thanks to the guards and they eyed our hands, still interlocked, before leaving us. Epona's eyes dipped down and she huffed again, braying noisily. I rolled my eyes and patted her mane gently.

"I'm sorry we made you stand in the cold, ok?" I said to the horse, who stared at me with suspicious eyes. She sneezed again, directly aiming it at my face to convey that she didn't accept my apology.

Link burst out laughing, releasing my hand to keel over, hands on his knees to laugh loudly at the horse snot I proceeded to slowly wipe off my face. I glared at his crouched form and was delightfully thankful when Epona sneezed in his face when he rose.

"Ha!" I cried and pointed. Almost on cue, Link stared at Epona with a mock look of betrayal, gloved hands pawing at his face.

"After all we've been through," he whispered, boarding her as I boarded Storm's back. I absently considered how cold my hand felt without his and I stared at him as he murmured angry things to Epona.

Then, I thought something. Since today, I hadn't really thought about Revali. Then I came to a second realization: no matter what he said or says in the future, it didn't affect me because bottom line, Link makes me happy.

~~~
I'm sorry for the late chapter but straight up moving to my dorm tomorrow (whoop - whoop!). So I'm busy AF and packing and doing all this shit, ack. Next time I write will be in my dorm I guess.
Also, I finished Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc and I'm gonna write a book on it here. So if you like the game or the manga or, hell, character design, go check it out. It'll be stopping not for a while but it's interactive so I would like to establish at least somewhat of an attentive base. And that right there was a shameless plug.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
