Sorry to disturb your reading, but I just finished writing the previous chapter and it's 2 o'clock in the morning for me. This ultimately means that my brain is being overly active and my thoughts extremely intrusive. I typically don't write random notes in the middle of my stories, but there's a lot going on in the world at the moment and I felt the need to spread some encouragement.
I mainly wanted to focus on the way we deal with one another. Despite all of the chaos occurring around the globe, we need to be present for each other. We should share kindness like it's fun-sized candy (preferably twizzlers or snickers), and we should be available to listen whenever someone needs it. We're all struggling in one way or another, it sucks but... we can't give up. I think that it's our job to search for light, even when it seems like everything is pitch black and covered in doom (why must everything I say be edgy?).
As you can probably tell, I need sleep. So, I will leave this very random note as it is, and cross my fingers that you don't hate me for interrupting your story time!
