(Y/n) woke up in a strange new place, she doesn't remember her previous life or how she ended up here. She woke up in a cell underneath the Magne estate in Hell. Only those who are chosen to serve the family for eternity end up in this room, and it...
Today was the day of the Banquet, and the yearly extermination. Everyone was helping with preparations. You at the moment, were getting dressed up for the occasion. Wearing the black dress you picked out at the store nearly a year ago, you looked at yourself in the full body mirror Merida gave you a few months ago.
You looked stunning, and you were ready to kill at any moment. for the past week you've been training in your heeled dress shoes, so you wouldn't break an ankle while fighting if it occurred.
Satisfied with your outfit, you make your way to Merida's room. You saw Thyton in the halls talking to one of the maids. You didn't see Fenrir or Burgs.
Reaching Merida's room, you knocked on the door. On the other side you heard some shuffling and her saying 'Just a minute!'
She opened the door and smiled. She was wearing a black strapless dress that was slightly shorter than yours. it had a white trim around the bust. Her hair was in a fancy braided bun and you stared at it in awe.
"How did you do that yourself?" You asked. She smiled and gestured for you to step in, and you do so.
"A lady never tells her secrets." She replied.
You came here so she can help you do up your hair and makeup, you weren't to in practice with make up or hair. You liked to keep things simple. But for the banquet, you had to look your best.
She sat you down in front of her make up table and she started on your hair. It took what seemed like forever, with some cursing in between. After she was done she sighed in relief.
"Your hair didn't want to cooperate at all (Y/n)!" She huffed, showing the hairstyle to you in the mirror (picture below).

"I kind of let my hair do it's own thing most of the time Merida." You laughed. Looking in the mirror you smiled, she made it look so easy. "I love it, thank you."
"Now time for your makeup." She stated while she took out a drawer of various make up products. You told her you wanted it light and simple. Nothing to heavy.
She agreed and started on your makeup. You never liked sitting in place much so you ended up drumming your fingers on the table to keep you distracted.
When she was done, you were again in awe at her work. It was simple, and not to complex. You thanked her immensely, and she shooed you out of the room since she was still getting ready.
You went to go find Burgs, and ended up finding him sitting on a bench in the garden. you walked up to sit next to him and looked up at the red tinted sky.
"It's going to be a busy night." He huffed, combing his fingers in his hair. You nod.
"It is...And may I ask a question?" You set your hands in your lap. He gave you a look to continue talking. "What are the exterminations? None of you really talked about it before a few days ago."
He took a moment to answer, looking off at the pond. "This place is over populated. Sinners come here nearly every day for various reasons. a few years ago Lucifer and the Arch-Angels made an agreement that once a year, usually on new years, that the battle angels could come down and wipe out the most populated section of the pentagram. And the locations vary of course. If you don't hide, or are in residence of the only safe place in this hell hole, then you're gong to get erased."
His answer raised only one more question. "Then why host a banquet?"
He shrugged and leaned back. "I'm not entirely sure, maybe it has something to do with the overlords keeping their power over the city."
you nodded. That made sense you suppose.
~~Little time skip to the banquet~~
Fenrir and Thyton were outside the front doors greeting the Overlords while you and everyone else were inside the building, keeping your guard up for any trouble.
The Overlords were finely dressed and each had their own unique styles and looks. It was definitely easy to tell them apart from each other. the tallest one wore a large pink coat with zebra striped fluff trim and one had a literal TV screen for a head.
At the moment you were by the refreshment table, keeping an eye on the doors. At some point you see an imp-like creature enter the room. You tracked him down and found him near a tall owl, dressed fancy. He was taller than you and looked at you curiously.
"I believe the guards outside told you not to bring him, correct?" You said, pointing to the imp next to him. He sheepishly grinned and hid behind the bird, like you were going to hurt him.
The bird shook his head. "They said no such thing."
You groaned. Maybe he sneaked in without being detected somehow. You grabbed him by the collar, making him yelp in surprise and you started dragging him out the door.
Getting outside, you looked at Fenrir and held up the imp, who shrunk into himself and sheepishly waved.
"The bird freak sneaked the imp inside but I caught him. He's your issue now." You roughly handed him the annoying imp, who now looked like he was going to die any moment. Maybe he would, you didn't care though.
You nodded to Thyton before going back inside. When you walked back into the ballroom, there seemed to be a bit of tension, though not enough to alarm you.
As much as you wanted to greet the Overlords of hell, you didn't want them to figure out who you were, it could lead up to trouble in the future. You sighed, staying near the door, you spot the bird brain talking to the TV head. He seemed a little irritated that his little imp toy was kicked out.
An hour passes by, Fenrir and Thyton walk into the ballroom and go their separate ways. You guess all the guests are here for the evening. You haven't seen Merida all night, you haven't seen her since she did your make up and hair. She's probably hiding somewhere, it's one of her favorite things to do, hide then appear when something wrong happens.
You haven't seen Burgs either now thinking about it. You're surprised he wasn't by all the food.
Suddenly you hear someone speak, and you look up to see Lucifer next to his wife and little daughter on a balcony overlooking the room. Lilith was noticeably taller than him, though most of the time you didn't pay attention.
"Welcome fellow Overlords to another banquet!" His voice boomed throughout the hall, causing all the hushed conversations to cease.
"As you all know, tonight is the night of the yearly extermination. Let all those weak and powerless sinners die while we watch and feast like royalty!" He lifted up a glass of wine and everyone raised their voices in a cheer.
Lucifer began a small speech about this years accomplishments and you got bored of the chatter, so you decided to look for Burgs.
You found him outside on a balcony overlooking a part of the city. You could hear faint screams and yells coming from the city.
"Hey Burgs," You called, walking up next to him to lean on the rail.
"Hey (Y/n), what's happening at the banquet?" He asked you, looking out towards the city.
"Lucifer is just making a small speech about this year."
"I'm surprised you're not listening to his little rant." He chuckled and turned towards you.
You shrugged. "It got boring, plus I haven't seen you all evening." You looked up and saw a few battle angel descend onto the city. Late arrivals you assume.
For the rest of the night you and Burgs were on the balcony, chattering away.
