Ch 21 - Scotch and I Told You So

I think people are expecting bleach over ice with tonic after the ending to last chapter.

( Keep in mind since I haven't been able to find the names of the Sitri parents, I'm just going off of them as Edward and Maria. )

The wife shook her head. "Now Edward that's impolite to our guest. You should be more impressed that our daughter has brought a boy home."

"Well when you think that way, I'm quite impressed." Nodded Lord Sitri.

"Excuse our pardon. Come on right in. I'm Maria. Please join us."

"Pleasure is all mine." You nod.

"Your name kid?" Maria elbowed Edward in the ribs. Poor guy. "Sir."

"(FN) (LN). Though Serafall calls me Levy just a heads up."

"That's right Father, Sir Levinald."

"Are you still in highschool?" He asked.

"Yes I am." You look at him and then over to Serafall. She looks annoyed.

"Are you dating this under aged boy?" Asked Edward.

"His parents welcome it. You and mother told me to find a husband and we've talked about it ever since we met."

Then everyone sat down at the table in the dining room. It was a table made to seat ten. As everyone sat down Edward eyed over to you. "You're, human right?"

"Gremory actually."

"Oh," His eyes widened. "Sirzechs?"

"Rias. Serafall was visiting and Sona showed her around. We met and just hit it off. Everything has been going on from there. I've been confused about this for a while, though I'm slowly getting stronger and learning how it all works. We've done missions together and took care of someone ordered to be taken out by the Arch Duke."

Edward poured himself a glass of scotch. He took a sip and held his glass. "The Arch Duke? What was going on that was requested by him?"

"I'll hide the details since we have a nice dinner in front of us, but we had to take out a Devil that was kidnapping and doing awful things to women. Something you would see in horror or a crime show."

"So you have seen my daughter in battle?" Asked Edward.

You take a sip of water. "I saw that poor excuse of a man drown in his own blood and I'm sure she was holding back." Another sip of water. "Leviathan is a title after all. And he couldn't handle the water."

"He's not going anywhere Daddy, we're lovers!" Declared Serafall.

"Mmmm..." He put down the scotch. Then a giant gulp. He had to take a second to have this next part sound better. "I am surprised. You didn't seem confident finding a man that would be in line for marriage."

"Levy is here. I found him and we've been together. We just started moving belongings to each other's rooms."

Maria smiled. "Very nice. I find it you found out it is easier to find a younger spouse?"

"Mom isn't it easier to find one than change one? And if he is still young, can't he still adjust? He became a Devil within the year. He has much to learn and going into every challenge ahead with an open mind. Yes I know he is still in school, can't drink, and much to learn. But I found the partner I've been looking for. Sona knows him, Rias speaks highly of him, it further connects the Gremory and Sitri lines, and I love him."

Edward sighed. "So," He smiled. "I take it that the arrangement to have a date with you is off. Very well." He turned his attention to you. "(FN), what happened when you were a human? How did you convert?"

"I was attacked when trying to buy figurines of all things." You chuckled.

"Err, anime girls?" He pondered.

"Yes. My sister is into them. I tried to make a nice gesture. And the person selling them attacked me."

"Wait..." Edward's eyes widened. "I heard of a story. Some say Fallen Angel but it was actually a Devil going astray. Figurines correct?"

"Yes."

"Alone and for a third of value correct?"

"Yes."

 "I'm sorry to hear boy. You were the victim. My condolences. So how did Rias take you in?" Edward was starting to really turn things around.

"Rias is not just the Princess of Annihilation. She's also the Queen of Care. She is almost motherly like a big sister and only those who see it know what I'm taking about. Sona runs a tight ship. Rias has let me learn, enjoy life from a different perspective, and furthermore, in the last few months I have truly learned, grown, and bettered myself. Serafall helped of course, but I am my own man. If I am going to be Sir Levinald like she says, I have to be."

Maria sat there with a wide grinned and waited for her husband to say something. "Edward?" Waited Lady Sitri.

"Tis," Shocked from such a mature response. "A blessing. You speak very well. Carry yourself grandly. I wasn't expecting this much."

"I understand this is so sudden Lord Sitri, and I thank you again for you and your wife Lady Sitri for having me. I understand there is doubt. I try not to think about it. But what I have learned most of all is not to do too much. I'm not Rias or Sona. Nor am I Tsubaki, Akeno, or Issei the Dragon. I am (FN). I don't have a title swim over my head and I stay with a humble mind. That's all I can do."

"Well said. Cheers." Lord Sitri was able to pick up his glass again.

Wow Levy. It's just so amazing that you can just blow everyone away just like that. I mean I thought this would be quite the bloodbath. But this is a peaceful night and it can only get better. Then we can shower off and cuddle. This isn't a challenge. This is a celebration. And a step to us being lovers. I love Levy. You're getting better.

Such sweet words. I think the reason I rank Serafall so high on my list is not only is she cute as well as sexy, but her personality and her ability to describe how she feels using words is so meaningful. She doesn't hold herself back and is very open. As I get older I really love that.
