Ch 27 - Devil Cry

This was truly something. You are in a confined space. Twenty feet away from you in a broken Fallen Angel that is making lewd comments about your fiancé. You are angry, mortified, and just want to kick Fallen Angel bootias maximas. Just glaring at him as Asia and Koneko hope for a way out and Serafall is watching your back. 

"Not talking anymore?" Asked the man.

You didn't say a word. Just kept glaring right at him. Your hands feel hot. Feeling the fire raging inside. It isn't visible yet because you are gaining control. I'm watching you.

"Not talking dumbass? You become scared or deaf all of the sudden? Little shit."

You shake your head. Naïve. Hope no harpy of a woman walks in now. Otherwise I'll go nuts.

"Fine." A bright pink light formed in his hand. "Have it your way."

A spear of light. Haven't seen one in a while. But this time I can defend myself. This is serious. You had to watch yourself. This is kryptonite.

"Levy be careful!" Cried Serafall.

"I'll do my best." You take a deep breath. 

I have to do something. Serafall used another whip of water. She pushed the couch out of the way. Before the whip split into two and went down the pit where Asia and Koneko were. "Grab on girls. It's me."  The two girls grabbed hold as they got lifted up and out of that massive hole. They were a little dusty, but unharmed. That was what was most important. "Levy I got the girls. Let's go."

You shook your head. "I can't do that. This is my battle."

"Levy!" Serafall didn't want you to do this. The purpose was to go after Asia and Koneko. They are back and unharmed for the most part. Time to leave. But to you this wasn't it. It was just less risky. In your mind it now becomes a fair fight. 

"Die!" The man threw his spear. 

"Oh yeah?" You hit the deck and jump right back up. "Promotion to Queen." You are on enemy territory after all. Time to act. You dashed right and vanished.

"Where are you hiding?" Asked the man. 

You dash diagonally. With it punching him across his face. He didn't see you. You went over for another one going straight across. "Too slow."

"Gah!"

"Too slow." Back in front of him and staying there. He just got his bell rung twice. It's going to be much more too. "Don't you ever talk dirty about my future wife ever again." You charge up a fireball. With an underhand motion you roll it across the floor and right in front of him. You are waiting for his timing. If he moves left, you move right and have the ability to zoom across and wallop him again. And vice versa if he moves right. 

"Not happening." He flew straight up. 

Try this! You throw a fireball up. Doing your best to aim a small one right to his chest. 

Wow Husband. Serafall looked at the fight you had to go through with. All of this to protect me? You really are special. You're amazing. And this is your first real fight.

At this point you just kept hurling them. Creating balls of fire and the man had to play the guessing game. He was starting to grow tired. While you on the other hand had plenty of energy. Full steam and fire ahead. You kept up with him with a wide smirk on your face as the girls just watched you. 

"So speed, strength, and great ability of magic. He really is topping the Queen ability." Said Koneko.

"He can't hit like you can but he is keeping up nicely. He's doing great." Serafall smiled even though she was worried sick. 

"You worried?" Asked Asia.

"Of course I am. But if someone hurts my husband to be he is dying a thousand times."

"Okay..." Asia pretty much got the picture.

What helped you is one of your fireballs burned his cloak. It started to catch his wings as he hit the ground. He fell on his side and attempted to roll over on his shoulder. His cloak and wings still burning as he laid there groaning. Ashamed that he let something like this happen. They say no capes with super heroes. What's the rule with a cloak? Take it off during battle.

You walked towards him as he laid in defeat. Seeing if he had anything to say now. "Had enough?"

"What are you?" He asked.

"Me?" You asked.

"Who are you?" He asked again. 

You shook your head. "A fire hazard." You reach back with a giant fireball. Behind this one is going to be one serious punch. "Goodnight!" The downward swing created a magical haymaker powerful enough to end him. The room glowed orange for a moment. Then faded to its regular dull lighting surrounded by black feathers. "Because no one, talks to my wife like that." You turn around to Serafall and the girls. "Well, the house is in one piece. I didn't burn the whole place down, was able to keep calm, and used a Queen promotion just as I practiced and trained all this time. Ready to go home Ladies?" Walking over you give Serafall a kiss. "And back to our planning?"

"Yay! See you there Levy." She gave you a kiss and teleported back to Sona. Probably to review and proceed to make sure all things are back on task. Which is something Sona should be telling her. 

"Time to report. Glad you two are safe. Let's head home." Koneko drew up the summoning circle and the three of you stood inside of it. "Ahhh, much better."

"You feel it?" Asked Asia.

"Yeah, relief really. Better than all of that trouble. So good to be back in a stable mindset. Let's go home."

*Teleport*

And now, I think just the wedding left. 

Fun fact, the keys got hot and completed this during a lunch break. About 45 minutes of work or so. Like I said before, it's amazing when the keys get hot and you are in a good mindset.
