UNFORTUNATELY SUMMER had to come to an end. the emerald green grass lost the sparkle it once had.

most of the flowers had wilted or were beginning to wilt. the leaves that were once a spring green had faded to a crisp orange and crimson red.

it had already been two months into the school year.

y/n had left the fairchild estate on august first. reluctantly might i add.

in fact she was scheduled to be picked up the month before but begged so desperately to stay that her parents finally gave in.

though they were firm on picking her up on august first.

now it was october fifteenth. back in school once again.

her parents were a bit sad the day she was leaving for boarding school, having not seen her just about the whole summer and now not going to see her till christmas, that is if she actually would return to the montegomery estate or if she'd be right back at the fairchild's estate.

it seemed that the second idea was much more probable than the first.

y/n and miles continued to hangout everyday, despite getting into a fair amount of arguments.

y/n had stopped talking to her friends all together, they deemed her annoying and needy.

they said she was way too obsessed with some shitty guy who was way to depressed to be fun.

upon finding out the gossip her supposed friends were saying, she stopped talking to them altogether.

going into a single dorm, claiming she was being bullied and would like to be alone. the school not wanting any more issues agreed quickly.

her emotions were a bubble of mystery to herself.

how strange to be confused with yourself, she was sad most of days. staring at the plastic, glowing fish tank on her desk while rotting on her bed.

she was only happy with miles and this was because she was in love, true love.

she was plagued with nightmares when the sun went to sleep. she hardly slept.

her lack of sleep had quickly become evident with the deep purple circles under her eyes, she seemed so pale and skeletal. it was as if her head had been smashed in that day.

miles was her courageous knight. sneaking into her dorm late some nights and holding her tightly to his chest.

he fought all the monsters and scary things so the princess could sleep peacefully.

how she loved her knight!

during the day she was troubled by the other students. her peers had found a pass time of bullying both miles and y/n.

they were so odd, miles seemed to argue with everyone so of course they taunted him.

but y/n, y/n so small and so weak without her knight, an easy target.

her beauty seemingly gone and any confidence was left with miles, so every comment made hurt her to tears.

of course the only person left to comfort her was miles.

some days he'd hold her and let her cry, while others he'd sigh and complain how noisy she was, "you make such a fuss of course they'll bully you" he'd roll his eyes and leave her to cry.
