chapter fifteenaneurysm
!trigger warning!
IT ALL happened so fast. everything was red, bright red. miles was bleeding almost unconscious on the floor. y/n's hands, face, clothes were covered in his blood. she was wailing, sobbing above him begging him not to go. it all happened so fast...
it was cold and rainy out. summer long gone, the leaves completely fallen from the trees, most flowers lay dead. y/n sat on the porch sipping tea and watched as the rain created little puddles around the house. she was wearing another one of miles' tees, this time it was a black sabbath shirt along with some shorts. her mind rested with nothing except miles. sighing she rose from her comfortable posi tion and went back inside the house. mrs grose had left for a few weeks. when she left she was in an uncomfortable hurry saying she had business to attend to. it didn't matter though, miles solely needed y/n.
"y/n! y/n let's play flashlight hide and seek kay?" flora tugged at the girl's shirt when she entered the living room. "alright" y/n smiled at the small girl. "okay this time i seek and you hide!" flora turned around beginning to count. y/n grinned running down the hall and into the first door she saw. when she entered the room she realised it was unfamiliar. there were various statues inside each chiselled to perfection, their skin seeming smoother than her own. in the middle of the room was a staircase that spiralled down. carefully she stepped down, the smell of dust and mold took over the deeper she went. at the bottom of the staircase was a door, when she opened it there was a stone hallway, shivers crept down her spine, everything was telling her not go down the hall. god she should've listened.
she was never one to listen, each step she took gave her more and more anxiety. another door stood tall and mysterious. a sudden snap cracked behind her giving her the courage to open the door and run inside. though she wished she never did. "y/n my love welcome" miles sat at the end of a large table. a twisted smile rested on his lips as he looked at her. there was dishes filled with rotting soup as well as what appeared to be teeth shinning on porcelain plates. the smell was rancid and made her stomach twist.
she stood looking at miles unable to process everything that was occurring. he stood from the chair. "mother, father, look it's y/n my darling girl. isn't she gorgeous." he looked at the two bodies seated next to each other. they were corpses, miles' dead mother and father. their bodies had decayed so much you couldn't even recognise who they were, just skeletons now. though parts of their skulls were missing, limps twisted unnaturally bits of their already decayed skin were burned from the fiery crash. miles laughed heartily. "oh father you are such a jokester, y/n come would say hi, wouldn't want to be rude now would you?"
across from miles' mother sat quint. an eyeball lay in his soup, flies were eating away at his exposed brain. his skin had shrivelled and darkened from the decomposition. he was holding the hands of miss jessel. who was still semi plump from the amount of water her body took in at the river. her skin was a sickly green her eyes rolled to the back of her head only showing the whites. and finally at the end of the table was dylan harrison. his head and been brutally chopped off and now lay in his lap. blood still spilled down his neck meaning it was fresh. "ah dylan just joined the party, i guess you could say he was dying to come and play" miles laughed loudly, holding his stomach and wiping the tear that fell from his eye.
y/n fell to her knees, tears flooding down her cheeks though she was silent. "oh baby no no no, look they're happy, we're happy! you could be happy with us. you're all i'm missing my love. i even saved a seat just for you!" miles looked back to where he was sitting, next to his chair was another smaller chair and plates laid out for tea. "m-miles" y/n choked out. "i promise i'll make it quick okay baby? you'll hardly feel a thing" he came closer, a needle in his hand, his smile was so wicked and so pleased. she scooted back, trying to get farther away from him. "you and me both know you can't run from me."
he was on top of her now, needle so close to her neck. "m-make it fast okay? and love me f-forever like we promised, okay?" y/n looked up at him, waiting for a response she'd never get. miles fell beside her, a knife speared through his stomach, kate stood above him. blood, blood, blood it was everywhere. everywhere the smell poisoned her. y/n shook miles, screaming his name. "no! no! what did you do! what the fuck is wrong with you" y/n roared. kate stood crying a few feet away. "h-he was going to kill you, you're safe now!" kate yelled back shutting her eyes. y/n stood up shakily, her knees nearly giving out. "there's eight seats kate, and only seven of them are taken, there's room for one more" y/n smiled. "y/n please rethink this, y/n!" kate gurgled falling to the floor, the needle stuck in her throat filling her with poison.
y/n sat in miles' blood, smoothing his hair down. his eyes stared at the ceiling blankly, his lips forever twisted into a smile. she dragged his body at the head of the table. than dragging kate to sit next to dylan. "anyone need more tea?" she asked going around and carefully poring the molded liquid into the porclain cups.
she sat next to miles holding his hand. "i'm sorry, i-if this hurts love" she whispered and carefully pulled the knife from miles' abdomen. blood spluttered everywhere. a dead gurgle could be heard deep withing miles' throat. "we promised 'member. if you die i d-die." she kissed his now pale cheek. than giving a kiss to his grey lips. until finally stabbing herself in the stomach. she lurched coughing up blood onto miles' lap. her breathing heavy and broken. she crumbled onto miles, cuddling onto his chest. her last bit of strength went to leaving a bloody kiss mark on his cheek.
on december 31, 1994 two lovers died in each others arms.
