I Lost My Heart In Republic City

Chapter 1 The First Time

"Asami how did you meet Korra?" the little boy asked as he sat on his bed.

Asami thought for a second, "How did I meet Korra? Hmm it wasn't a good start" Asami said.

"What do you mean? Did Korra fight a dragon? Did she save you from a tower?" Rohan asked.

Asami smiled and looked over at her girlfriend "Well did you fight a dragon Korra, or save me from a tower Rohan wants to know."

Korra just smiled and chuckled "Of course I fought a dragon. It was bigger then Ogie." Rohan's eyes grew bigger with amazement as Korra spoke. Asami sat there smiling as she remembered the first time they met.

( Asami's POV)
It was raining that day in Republic City. Everyone continued with their lives ignoring the rain, but I didn't. I sat there in a coffee shop staring out a window admiring the rain. I was too busy paying attention to the rain to notice someone coming in the shop. I sat there staring out the window, and heard a chair next to me squeak signaling someone sat next to me. I didn't care as long as they didn't say anything to me. Good thing they did.

"Hi are you from around here? I'm trying to find a place, but I can't find it and then my map got wet.....and I'm talking to much."

She was right she was talking to much. It was amusing, funny, and cute all at the same time. I looked over at the girl and smiled "Yeah I can help you. Where are you trying to go?" I asked with a smile.

The girl responded with, "I need to catch a ferry to Air Temple Island. "

Air Temple Island? Why does she have to go there? It's none of my business. "Yeah I can take you there myself I'm free anyway. We should probably go because they might close the ferries with the rain." I said.

The girl just smiled and nodded saying, "Thank you so much you're a lifesaver."

I stood up and threw away my coffee cup and headed straight toward the door with the girl following me. As we stood outside I decided to ask for her name. "What's your name anyway stranger?"

The girl responded with a short answer, "Korra. My names Korra." That's an odd name but I liked it.

"Well Korra my name is Asami." The girl just stared at me wide eyed "Is there something wrong Korra?"

Hi! It's my first time writing a korrasami fanfiction and I hope that anyone that reads it enjoyed it. I'm hoping I can add more chapters to this story and see it grow!
