Chapter 2 Stupid Rain

(Authors Note: That ending to the show was perfect! Who was happy about the end? I wassss.)

Rohan laid inside his bed fast asleep. Asami smiled as the little boy slept. Korra stood up and tapped her girlfriend on the shoulder signaling they should leave. Asami nodded and stood up leaving the room with Korra.

As the two sat on the couch in the living room Korra spoke, " When I was telling my story to Rohan about saving you from a tower...I remembered how we really met."

Asami nodded in agreement and said, " I did too. There was no tower or dragon. Just a coffee shop and rain." Korra smiled and said, "A lot of rain."

(Flashback Korra's POV)
I was lost, cold and wet. Even worse my map with directions got wet. I didn't know what to do. I was new to the city and didn't know anything except where I had to be. I tried asking people for help but they just continued walking ignoring me. I decided to go inside a coffee shop to find help.

When I walked in I saw a girl with black hair sitting their starring out the window. I decided to ask this girl for help so, I sat next to her and asked for directions. The girl agreed to take me to Air Temple Island. Finally, someone who would help me. As I stood next to her outside she asked for my name. I told her it was Korra.

The girl nodded and told me her name was Asami. My eyes widened when I heard the name. I had heard this name before but where? Asami asked if I was okay. I quickly nodded and said , " I feel like I've heard that name before but it's nothing. So which way first?"

Asami nodded and said " Right. It will rain harder pretty soon." I nodded and followed behind. Asami was right it did start raining harder. I heard Asami curse under her breath.

" Do you have an umbrella?" I asked.

Asami just shook her head and said, "If I did I would have used it by now." I nodded listening. I moved my hands around us and bended the water so it wouldn't hit us. Asami turned around and looked up and said " I didn't realize you were a bender."

I looked at her and said " Well I can't let the person leading me to the ferry get wet. That would be rude of me."

Asami smiled, " Thank you. But with the rain being this hard. The ferries are closed.

" My smile fell to the ground, "...oh great. How else am I gonna get their. My first day here and things are already bad."

Asami looked at me studying me with her eyes and said, "It wont do you or me any good standing out here. Lets go back to the coffee shop maybe you can call someone. Ill wait with you."

I stared at Asami and smiled "Alright I don't see why not." Asami smiled and turned around and started walking. I bended the water around us as we walked. As we entered the coffee shop I followed Asami and sat across from her at the table. I looked out the window and sighed "Stupid rain. I could have been at Air Temple Island by now. Tenzin is going to kill me."

Asami stared at me when I spoke the last sentence. Asami looked at me and said "Tenzin? The son of avatar Aang? The airbender?" I nodded and said " YES! Do you know him?"
