"Ughhhhhh....." You groaned as you woke up at a time that was far too early for your liking. You had been a pro hero for the longest time, but today the academy had asked you to assist with the class of none other than Shota Aizawa. You had never met Eraserhead in person, but when you saw him in the news, you always thought he was handsome. While you agreed because you wanted to finally meet him in person, you were still not good with mornings, and were not looking forward to trying to deal with a classroom full of children this early. So you hit the snooze button and rolled over for another 5 minutes before our alarm went off and you groaned again, forcing yourself up out of bed to get ready for the day.
You walked to the school to try to wake up more before getting there. Once you arrive, the classroom is still empty, so you decide to take a nap. Lucky for you, there's a yellow sleeping bag laying up by the teacher's podium, so after a glance around to make sure no one was looking, you climbed into the sleeping bag and proceeded to zip it up all the way. You had just settled in for your nap when a bright light flashed across your closed eyelids. Your eye snap open to the angry face of the man you agreed to this to see. He looked just as tired as you, but far more angry, and you attempted to jerk upwards to a seated position as a reaction to having someone's face in yours. Unfortunately, that last bit put you in some serious trouble, as when your body reacted by trying to sit up, you headbutt the poor man on your way.
"Ow..." You both said at the same time. He sat back and you sat up, grinning sheepishly at him. "So... I'm (Y/N). I take it you're Shota Aizawa?" He glared at you.
"Call me Shota. I think we're at that point considering you just managed to give me a migraine." You giggled nervously. "So you're the hero assisting me, huh? I've seen you before I think. Would you mind getting out of my sleeping bag? The kids are going to be here any second, and I can't show them any weakness." You laughed a little and retracted yourself from the sleeping bag. You were feeling especially embarrassed because who even gets in a random sleeping bag?!?! You were just so exhausted that you saw a comfortable place to nap and took it.
"Sorry. I guess I was more tired than I thought. And this sleeping bag just looked so comfy..." You stood up, pulling down your shorts slightly to make sure that they were still mildly acceptable for children. Shota's eyes widened as you stood and he took in all the tattoos all over your body. You glanced down self-consciously. "Oh... You've seen me, right? So you know what my quirk is." Your quirk was that you could make artwork come to life for about an hour. However, it came off the surface it was painted on, so you had a rather revealing hero costume of short shorts and a crop top so that the art on your arms and legs was easily accessible. When you used the art, the tattoo would disappear from your skin as it literally came off to fight for you before returning as soon as you were done. The downside was that the art came out exactly as it looked, not as the object it's representing. You tended to stay away from Picasso paintings for this reason, and your tattoos had to be pictures rather than words.
"I do. They're just really beautiful close-up. When you're on the news you can't see them as well." His eyes traveled your legs and arms, which were covered in your most-used pictures that you had drawn in sharpie on your arms as a kid in the academy until you were old enough to get tattoos. As his eyes met yours again, you sucked in a breathe and stared at him until the moment was broken when several students started piling into the classroom, talking loudly. He turned away from you and you stood in shock for a minute before shaking it off and turning towards the class. Once the entire class was in and had taken their seats, Shota introduced you to them and the two of you began the lesson.
You two worked together for a couple of weeks, and then your last day was upon you. You had gotten close to him, not only in your teaching, but as friends. And for you, a little more. You were infatuated with his sarcastic, dry humor, and his intelligence. His wit when dealing with some of his more outgoing coworkers was hilarious, and your feelings had grown from friendship to something more pretty quickly. Since today was your last day of assisting in his class, you decided that you had better tell him how you felt before you were separated and didn't have much reason to spend time with him outside of school. Before Shota left, you gulped and turned to him.
"Hey Shota. Would you mind coming with me for a minute? I want to show you something." He raised an eyebrow at you, but nodded and gestured for you to leave the way.
You led him to an auditorium that was not often used in the school and mumbled an 'excuse me' before lifting your shirt in the back to reveal a huge portrait of 'Starry Night' that took up your entire shoulders. Shota started to look away, but you shook your head, blushing brightly as you used your quirk to begin to project the painting all around the room so that you were surrounded by the swirling blues and yellows. Shota looked around, his normally tired eyes alight with amazement. You put your shirt down, allowing yourself to relax a little as the painting remained projected.
"This is incredible. I haven't seen this tattoo before though." You smiled at him.
"I only show it to people who are incredibly special to me. It's my favorite painting, and I got it tattooed so that I could project it like this and let it calm me after battles." Shota looked at you and smirked.
"People really special to you? Does that mean I'm special?" You nodded shyly. "You're special to me to." You closed your eyes tightly and blushed crimson before you felt something soft on your lips. You opened your eyes to see Shota's face in your field of vision, the painting slowly fading as it returned to your back. "So. Is this the start of a not-so-professional relationship?" You smirked.
"I do believe it is."
