Your friend, Nejire, once again had a crush on a boy in school and was debating whether or not to confess to him. She went through crushes very quickly, and she considered confessing to all of them, but unless she really liked them, she never did. And now you were stuck helping her work out if it was worth it or not again.

You, on the other hand, had been head over heels for Tamaki Amajiki since the two of you's first year at UA, and had yet to tell him anything. Even though you were not like Nejire, who cycled through crushes every other week, you were still too nervous to tell him how you felt. Yet she still always came to you for advice, despite the fact that you are too embarrassed to follow your own advice. This time, Nejire actually appeared to be serious about her crush and wanted to confess, despite her hesitation.

"It's just scary (Y/N). I know I do this all the time, but it doesn't make it any better. I'm always nervous."

"I know Nejire. But if you're actually serious about him, then it may be worth it."

"Easy for you to say, but you still haven't confessed to him." You rolled my eyes at her.

"I know. I have the biggest crush on the most nervous person in the school for 3 years, but I'm still too nervous to tell him." You laughed. "But I'm not confident on the best of days, even if I fake it. Your confidence is real." She smirked at me.

"I'll make you a deal. I'll confess to my man, if you'll confess to Tamaki." You smirked back.

"Not in a million years. Tamaki isn't interested in me. 'Your man,' as you call him, is pretty much guaranteed to say yes." Nejire stared over your shoulder, clearly trying to suppress laughter. "What?"

"I wouldn't be so sure that he isn't interested in you, (YN)." You turned around to see the very person you had been trying to hold your feelings in for at the end of the hallway, beet red and having clearly heard every part of what you two had just said. You felt my own face heat up, and stood quickly.

"Well Nejire, I just accidentally confessed apparently, therefore it's your turn. Now, please excuse me while I run, now that I've humiliated myself." You glanced at Tamaki and nodded before spinning around and running before either of them had a chance to say anything. You ran to the garden and sat among the flowers, breathing heavily and trying to keep yourself as calm as you could. "I have 2 options here: 1. I can just ignore what happened and act like nothing is wrong. Or 2. I can avoid him and never see him again. I think option 2 sounds better. Yeah, let's go with that one." Amongst your frantic muttering to yourself, you didn't realize that Tamaki had walked into the garden.

"A-actually, you have a th-third option." You spun around to see him standing there, his face still red and his hands shoved in his pockets to keep himself from fidgeting. You stared at him silently, your brain not quite comprehending what was going on. "The th-third o-option is my f-favorite. You c-could t-t-talk to m-me." You stood tensely, but nodded, waiting to hear what he had to say before deciding whether to run away in a panic again. Hopefully he would be willing to still be friends. Tamaki cleared his throat, clearly trying not to stutter so that his words came clearer. "You've liked me for 3 years?" You nodded. "A-and," he cleared his throat again nervously "that's not just as a friend, right?" You shook my head. "Alright, well... I don't want you to avoid me. Ever. In fact, it's the opposite. You're the best part of my day, and I want you around as more than my friend to." He managed to get the entire sentence out without stuttering, although he was looking at the ground and avoiding your eyes. "So, that's your third option, I guess." He looked back up at you, his intense indigo eyes staring into yours. "W-will you be my g-girlfriend?" You slowly approached him and put your arms around him. He stiffened in surprise, and then relaxed.

"Yes, Tamaki. Not even a question." You looked up at him and smiled. His face went red, but he smiled to, bringing your head to his chest again so that you couldn't see him blush. Then, the flash of a camera went off, ruining the moment. Your head snapped in the direction of the flash to see Nejire and Mirio snickering.

"Well, that plan worked perfectly," Mirio told Nejire, giving her a high five.

"About time!" Nejire cheered.

"You made me confess in the most embarrassing way I can imagine," You said threateningly as you advanced towards them. "And you planned all of this. I'm going to kill both of you."

"We were just trying to help!" Mirio grinned hesitantly, backing away with his hands up, Nejire next to him doing the same. Then they both turned and ran before you could get any closer.

"You both are so annoying!" You heard a snicker behind you and turned towards Tamaki, who's smile immediately faltered when he saw your rage. You stomped up to him and glared in his face, your hands on your hips. "Were you in on this?" He shook his head quickly. You sighed. "It doesn't matter if you were. It got results. And they were better results than I could have hoped for. I'll have to thank them later, even if I'm a little angry." He chuckled, and you put your arms around him again. "But for now, just hold me here, will you?" You felt his head nod.

"O-of course. H-hey, (Y/N)? I-I'm not that g-great at talking about th-things, but... I l-love you."

"I love you too, Tamaki."
