Elimination

Based around H and Matt being eliminated at Dancing on Ice - enjoy! :) xx

Also, as previously mentioned, feel free to give some request. I'm running out of ideas so all ideas would be very much appreciated. The plot can include Steps, Strictly or being AU (like a crossover of both.

"No way!" Lisa shouts, almost fearing the camera would film towards their seats and film her being absolutely shocked. Shocked about the dance-off. "No way that H and Matt are in the dance-off!" 

"Lisa, shush. Shouting doesn't help them being through to the next show." Claire whispers towards her brunette bandmate.

"Well no offence, but do you think this is fair?" 

"Well, they are in fact bottom of the leaderboard." Faye says as a matter of fact, the answer being an angry expression from Lisa.

"Which side are you on?"

"Calm down, I'm on no one's side. It simply is the truth - though they were undermarked. But it's difficult not to be in the skate-off when being bottom of the leaderboard. Sorry."

"I'm going to tell these judges off if they eliminate H and Matt! They deserve the final!" Lisa explains angrily. 

"Lisa, even if H and Matt will be eliminated then it's not the judges' fault. First of all the viewers vote and secondly, the judges need to make a decision. If they eliminate someone else they'll probably get hate too. You can't make everyone happy at a show like this." Claire explains.

"True, look at when I was at Strictly. Ashley received perfect scores and still found herself in the dance-off. At shows like these it's sometimes just not fair." Faye explains with a sigh. She knows from being at Strictly how it is to wait for the hosts to announce who's in the next show, and actually Lisa should know too - after all she once was a contestant at Dancing on Ice too and did, in fact, even danced with Matt. 

But at the moment all that counts for Lisa is to watch both couples performing the dance they decided on for the skate-off. H looks clearly emotional as he and Matt take a place next to the other couple and the hosts while waiting for what the judges are about to say. "So, which couple will be through to the next show and which couple will unfortunately leave the ice and will no longer be in the competition?"

"Reminds me so much of Strictly." Faye says thoughtfully, recalling when she was standing between the other celebs and waiting for her name to be announced. So she could understand H and Matt's thoughts perfectly. 

Lisa however seems like she's not even listening, only focusing on H and Matt while biting her lip nervously. Now it's time to announce who's not in the next show.

"The couple leaving our show is: H and Matt." 

"No!" Lisa says saddened, fearing for a moment that a camera would focus on her and her sad expression now but gladly all cameras are focused on H and Matt. "That's not fair! They're the best!"

"Sorry, but technically-" Faye starts, being interrupted by a warning look from Claire. True, maybe she shouldn't talk about the actual scores and leaderboard now when H was just eliminated. "It's not fair, that's true."

"Why couldn't people vote more for him?" Lisa asks with little tears in her eyes. She can't even say how sad she is for H - obviously she's sad for Matt too but Matt is the pro, he's used to not always winning a competition. But him and H were a perfect duo! A perfect skate couple with so much dances to show and now they're eliminated just because their skate just wasn't their best.
