This request is from @TudorPrincess12 with the prompt being about Giovanni comforting Faye after the harsh words from Shirley for their Jive. Hope you like it and your other request will be uploaded soon too :)

Also, if anyone of you would like to ask for requests again you can (again) feel free to give your ideas. Currently I'm basically out of ideas for one-shots here, so they would be really appreciated. But only if you want to, of course! And now, enjoy reading :)

Faye:

With an annoyed expression I open the door to my dressing room before taking of my accessories, slamming them against the wardrobe. Our dance didn't went as we wanted. Well yes, we're basically still top of the leaderboard after Ashley and Pasha - but it saddened me what Shirley said to us. Basically she wants us to show that we want to be part of this show too, she wants us to give our best when performing - but we do! We gave our best at these rehearsals! And Giovanni seemed to enjoy this dance a lot, as did I, but obviously we couldn't impress the judges at all.

A soft knock on the door of the dressing room interrupts these thoughts. Giovanni walks in, a small smile being on his face. "Hello you." he says.

"What?" I snap. "Oh my, you heard what she said? Why was I so talentless at this dance? You must hate me! Obviously-"

"Woah, wait, don't you dare talking about yourself like that." he interrupts me, fully confused. "You know that I like and appreciate you. And you're talented, even if you don't think about yourself like that."

"If you say so. Apparently I'm not dancing at my best. You, on the other hand, are dancing amazing. I mean you were just- wow." I tell him, really meaning it. He owns such a talent! But he's dancing with me, a ringer who dances like an idiot.

"So, now tell me. You're actually disappointed with yourself?" Giovanni asks. "But why? You danced this Jive like a pro!"

"Yeah of course, that ringer stuff-"

"No! I wasn't intending that!" he replies before a slight smile appears on his face. "And actually, you know that. Admit it, you just want me to make you a compliment."

I let out a laugh. "Maybe."

"Listen. I know that Shirley wasn't that nice but-"

"You wanted to tell her off too." I say, exhaling. "You know, it's not like I don't like Shirley. The judges are all nice and, well, they're the judges so they're allowed to give us honest critism for our performances. And I respect that and know that you do too. It's just- I'm simply not that confident in myself."

I bit my lip while looking at Giovanni, knowing that I must seem not only arrogant but also annoying to him. But he's saying something else instead. "I know. But please, you know that we're a great partnership and that we're nailing our dances."

I shake my head, not being too convinced by his encouragement. "Maybe. But people don't like me - you know, because of being a ringer and all. So what if we're in the dance-off? We will be eliminated, or what do you think? Honestly-"

"Stop that." Giovanni says loudly. "Please, stop talking about yourself like that. I will tell off Shirley and-"

"No!" I exclaim. "Don't tell her off! How odd would that seem? No. I wasn't dancing that great, she definitely said the truth. Tell me that I'm arrogant, instead. Come on, tell me!"

"You're just so-" he says, focusing me, "so harsh to yourself. That's what I mean. You're not arrogant, it just shows that you want to perform our dances at your best - and believe me, you own some talent." he answers.  "And now look at me." he continues, putting his hands on my cheeks. "You're a talented dancer and a wonderful person. We'll just try to improve, yeah? And don't mind about someone saying you're a cheater or ringer."

A smile appears on my face when hearing this words. "You- you actually think our dance was great?" I ask.

"Absolutely. I was great, wasn't I?" he jokes. "But so were you. A amazing dancer you are."

"Thank you." I giggle.

"I knew you would like receiving a compliment."

"I do. Because it's so cute when you're encouraging me like this. Really, it's great that we're dance partners."

"Absolutely. And now, want to go back to the others?" Giovanni asks. Well, we probably should as the results show is about to be filmed. Walking our way back to the stage, we're welcomed by some questioning looks again - and again, no one asks anything, about which I'm honestly glad because it definitely should not seem like me being arrogant or something.

We're told to take our places on stage, waiting for Tess to announce which couples are through to next show. Giovanni and me keep staying on our places, smiling politely. When it's time for an interview with the judges, I see his expression changing to angry as Shirley starts to talk. She's asked to explain the critism she gave us and while she talks, Giovanni honestly looks like he's about to yell at her. Just like after our dance when he told me to speak because he simply was far to annoyed.

"It's okay." I whisper to him. "We'll just improve and you know that we're a great partnership, we're going to nail that dance!"

His expression softens again, changing back to a small smile. "Thank you." he whispers back.

We remain on our places as the camera focuses on the dance couples again and Tess starts to speak. "I will now announce the next couple that is through to the next show." she says. Giovanni takes my hands tightly, being equally nervous as me. What if we're in the dance-off? That's the question that's still in my mind.

"Faye and Giovanni!"

We both let out a slight squeal upon hearing this. Giovanni spins me around happily, we both just seem glad about indeed being through to the next show and not needing to compete in the dance-off.

"Thank you!" Giovanni exclaims.

"Thank you!" I add, laughing.

We quickly make our way to the other couples, watching the show continuing.

"Thank you for this lovely talk." I whisper to Giovanni. "It's just cute how you're encouraging me and- and simply thank you for being so supportive and nice."

"You're welcome, my dear." he replies happily. "You're just great."

I let out a laugh at his words, being simply happy about him being my dance partner.
