This one-shot is a request from @TudorPrincess12 with the prompt being about Faye tripping during the Grease Quickstep rehearsals and being in a parallel universe from the movie. I'm sorry this one-shot took a while but hope you all enjoy reading it.

Faye:

"Don't you think we will trip?" I ask Giovanni as he tells me his plans for the dance. It's the movie show and we're dancing to a song from the movie 'Grease' and are impersonating Danny and Sandy. The other cast members already teased us about our slight resemblance to the characters, which is indeed odd.

Anyways, Giovanni really tries to make this dance perfect - although it's a bit difficult to follow his choreography. "Come on, we just try, I can still work on the choreography." he explains. I sigh, taking my place. At least I can't trip over my own dress as, for this dance, I'm wearing the shorts like those from the movie.

The music starts to play and we act out the little part that we decided to include, supported by some backing dancers. As we start to dance, I smile at Giovanni upon realising that the dance seems to go just as we wanted.

At least until I accidentally trip with my heels. Giovanni attempts to get a hold of me, but I just stumble, with my head banging on the ground - making my vision go blurry as I slowly fall into the dark.

Opening my eyes, I'm welcomed by several people looking down at me confused. Giovanni - who's still styled like the character he's portraying - takes my hands as he helps me to sit. "You're okay?" he asks. "Sorry Sandy, I didn't plan to run you over."

"It's fine you- wait, what?" I ask. Did he just called me Sandy? I mean yes, I'm in that certain outfit - but- wait. Utterly confused, I look at my surroundings. This is definitely not the studio and, although I spot some of the cast members, they're dressed in outfits from the movie. What?

"Sandy?"

I stare at Giovanni - or no, better said: Danny - before just answering an absolutely confused "Danny?"

"Yes. I hope you're not angry?"

"No. I mean, what are we actually doing here?" I ask. I recognise the outfits from the movie scene on which our dance is based - but how am I part of the movie now?

"Well it's our school party, remember?"

"No." I say confused, although obviously remember the movie scene.

"Are you really okay?" Giovanni - no, Danny - asks. If it wasn't so weird, I would burst into laughter now. But instead I'm almost bursting into tears because this is so confusing. How did I went into the movie? We were rehearsing our dance and- and what else? I don't know. Oh my, I don't remember how I went into this movie! "Well, if you say so. Should we go to the school party then?" Danny questions me, pointing in the direction into which most of our 'classmates' (in form of the Strictly cast) are walking. "I know we didn't went along at all previously, but going to a party is a nice way to apologise."

"Of course." I reply, still quite confused by this all. Probably I'm just too focused on rehearsals and now I imagine myself being part of the movie. Yes, that's probably why I'm apparently Sandy from Grease now. I spot the other cast members enjoying their time at this party, while I'm walking around rather dazed. Okay, I know this scene. That's where our dance does start - or let's say, that's the scene onto which Giovanni and me made our dance based off.

And just like in the actual movie, Danny asks "Sandy?"

Oh well, I'm just playing my role now. So I just answer, in my best manner, "Tell me about it."

That's when the music starts playing and, although it's so odd to be part of this scene, we indeed start to dance along. Ironically, we're not doing the dance from the movie but our Quickstep. This is literally weird. I'm dancing with Giovanni, who's apparently Danny from Grease now - for real, I mean. And I'm Sandy. Great.

Our Strictly classmates cheer to us and even the judges (who apparently are our teachers now) look at us in admiration.

"Sandy, this was amazing! I want you to be in the musical of Grease! It will be such a great show!" Craig exclaims.

So that's how he would be as a teacher.

"Sandy, you should perform this dance at our show!" Bruno approves, making Shirley and Darcey clap in approval.

"They're literally like professional dancers!" Darcey cheers.

"Might we invite you?" Shirley adds. "You and Danny would be a great addition to the cast!"

"What- which show?" I stutter. Is this even still a part of the movie?

"Strictly Come Dancing!" they all cheer together.

"Faye?" someone asks. "Faye, please look at me! Do you hear me?"

Absolutely dazed and dizzy, I open my eyes to see Giovanni - no, Danny as I remind myself - looking at me with a concerned expression.

"Danny?" I ask.

"Oh my." he says. "Guys, she thinks I'm Danny."

"Obviously you are. We performed our dance and- and we're invited to-" I interrupt myself upon realising what nonsense I'm actually just talking. Just like previously, I look at my surroundings and realise that I'm back in the dance studio and that the cast of Strictly doesn't look like the cast of Grease anymore. "I'm so confused." I mumble, rubbing my eyes.

"Well, you tripped and your head was banging on the ground. So you're probably a bit dazed." Giovanni explains and I realise that my head is indeed pounding like crazy.

"But we- we were there. You were Danny from Grease- I mean, you were still you but- but everyone was in the movie. And the judges invited us to Strictly. We even did our dance - but it wasn't the dance from the movie, it was our Quickstep!" I exclaim, talking quite excited now. "Guys, we were part of the movie! We were part of Grease!"

"Faye." Giovanni says worried. "I'm really happy that you enjoyed being part of Grease, but I think you should relax now. You're actually confusing me. I think you sustained a concussion."

"No, nonsense." I reply. "We could dance just like they do now. You're my Danny after all."

As soon as I said this words, I could actually scold myself. That was really intrusive and obviously that just makes the others approve that I'm behaving quite weird now.

"Thanks for your compliment but I will take you backstage now." he replies, taking me into his arms as he's carrying me to the dressing rooms. "So you indeed were part of the movie?" he asks, slightly amused by now.

"Yes, indeed. You were Danny, I was Sandy and the cast of Strictly was the cast of Grease. It was so odd but actually quite interesting."

"And were we performing nicely?" he asks as he puts me down, placing a cold pack on my head.

I shrug slightly, closing my eyes to ignore my banging headache. "We were great, apparently. The judges - who were our teachers - wanted us to be part of the musical for Grease. And they wanted us to be part of the Strictly cast too."

Now Giovanni burst into laughter. Not in a mean way obviously but he seems definitely amused by what I told him. "This is definitely an interesting rehearsals story to tell." he says.  "But are you okay? I mean, you still seem a bit dazed."

"I'm okay." I reply. "Really. Thank you. And thank you for the dance too."

He grins at me, still amused, before answering. "You're welcome."
