This one-shot is a request from @TudorPrincess12 with the prompt being about the Steps members as teachers. Just a little explanation: Faye is the drama/theatre teacher, Lisa the music teacher, Claire is the economics teacher, Lee the sports teacher and H is the English teacher. Hope you all enjoy! xx

"So what you've got on your time table today, Lisa?" H asks from across the room.

The new teacher he easily befriended with - partly because she's from Wales too - looks down at her notes. "Music, obviously. With the upper class though." she sighs. "I just wish they would be a bit more interested. Music unfortunately can't be solely about singing." she explains while taking her stuff. "You're preparing the exam class now, aren't you?"

"I am. Preparing a class for an exam in English, I must be crazy." he laughs. "Maybe I should change my profession and be a sports teacher like lovely Lee who's fancied by the girls and idolised by the boys." H replies with a grin. Lee joined the school when H did too and easily became everyone's favourite co-worker. He's nice, funny and obviously talented. Being a former footballer whose career was ended because of an injury he then decided to be a teacher, also because he studied for exactly that at university.

"Sounds brilliant. Mind you, preparing a play with Faye isn't what I'm overly fond off." Lisa grins. "I mean, it's just so stressful. We barely can decide on songs so wish me luck." she explains, now walking out of the room and greeting on of her co-workers while walking by. "Hey, Graziano."

"Hey, Amore." he says with a laugh.

"Graziano I told you I speak no Italian! Just because the school decided to invent Italian as a course." Lisa mumbles, shaking her head slightly. Sometimes she thinks she picked the wrong school, maybe she should've stayed in Wales instead of moving to England to attend this well-known and famous school in London.

Upon arriving at the class room, Lisa sighs before smiling at the thought of at least some of her students being so cheerful whenever a music lesson took place. After opening the door she's welcomed by her students smiling at her. "Morning everyone." Lisa says with a smile, the class greeting back at her. "Everyone did their homework?" she asks friendly. The homework was to pick their favourite song and write an essay about the song itself and why it was the favourite one.

"I surely did!" a blonde girl from behind answers.

"Fantastic, Ashley. You'd like to read it?" Lisa asks friendly.

The girl sinks down in her seat, shaking her head. "Uh, no thanks, Miss. It's not that well written."

"Really not? But Mister Watkins told me how amazed he is by your writing skills, dear." Lisa encourages her student. Since quite a while she attempts to get Ashley joining the school play, but unfortunately the girl is too shy.

"That's because he fancies you." a boy next to Ashley answers.

"Mind your words." Lisa says sharply. "Fine. If no one wants to read their essay-" she starts, thinking if she really should be that strict, "then hand me your papers and I will give you a mark."

The students sigh at this, knowing that speaking back now wouldn't be clever either. And in fact no one is interested in reading out what they wrote about their favourite song, finding it embarrassing. And so they just watch their teacher smiling while she reads through the essays, writing down nothing but great marks for her talented students.

"Fantastic, Aljaž!" Claire applauds the boy who looks down at his cake almost disgusted. "That looks fantastic. I sense a really good mark for your upcoming baking project."
