I walked to school tiredly two days later and the instant I stepped through the school campus, I was already getting stares from the others and I assumed it was because of the attack Madison thing. The walk to my locker was like the walk of shame. I felt so self-conscious, and that never happens.

I was opening my locker when someone dragged me into an empty classroom, my muscles tightened and I was ready to attack when I realized that it was just my friends. Selena quickly shut the door and locked it. I frowned at them. "What are you guys doing?" I asked suspiciously.

"Ma..Madison..has been spreading rumors about you." Selena panted like she just ran a marathon. I shrugged.

"So, that's expected of her." I had expected Madison to do something since she didn't get to kick me out of school like she had promised, but I had expected her to do something more extravagant than spreading rumors.

"No," Dylan argued. "They are not just any kind of rumors, she's telling everyone that the only reason why Tyler broke up with her is because you were seducing Tyler, that Tyler had an affair with you." James and Selena nodded at me, confirming what Dylan said was true.

I stared at them with disbelieving looks. "What?" I asked incredulously. "I've never even met Tyler before, hell, I don't even know what he looks like." Even though I moved here three months ago, I didn't know everybody yet, especially the ones that are high up on the social status at this school. "I should just tell everybody that I don't even know who Tyler is?" I asked hoping that by saying the truth, people would stop staring at me.

They sat down on top of the desks and shook their heads. "Unfortunately, no, that's not going to work." James stated sadly.

I pouted. "Why?" I whined like a two year old begging to eat ice cream.

"Because this is high school." Selena said.

I groaned and also sat down on top of a desk. "Why is being normal so hard?" I ran my hand through my hair a few times out of frustration and it became tangled. This was just like the fights I had to...then it hit me. I could just fight Madison like she was my opponent, but of course not really fight her. This was just like the fights that I used to fight in, why hadn't I think of that before. Why was I giving up so easily? "You know what, I'm going to fight back." I said confidently to my friends.

They looked at me confused and shocked. "What?" Dylan asked. "You're going to fight back Madison, like physically..or?"

I groaned. "No you dumb butt, I meant fighting her back like do what she's doing to me except I do that to her too." I explained.

Dylan and Selena looked at puzzled, but James I understood me. He snapped his fingers. "That's a great idea! But, how are you going to do that?"

"Yeah, how are you going to do that?" Dylan and Selena asked in unison.

I shrugged casually. "That's the fun part, you know how everybody backs down every time she thinks she is in dominant of them, well I'm not going to back down and 'fight' her back." I said excitedly. "Get it?" They looked at me worriedly and confused, but this made perfect sense to me. This was exactly like a fight. Do not let the dominant, Madison, be in control.

The bell rang and we frantically tried to get out of the classroom. "No!" I protested. "I can't be late again!" I was late two days in a row for math last week because I woke up late, if I was late again today, Mr. Levy was going to kill me.

"I can't be late again either because Mrs. Morris already hates me enough!" James complained. I almost crashed into James as we were both running toward the door.

"James, watch out!" He stuck out his tongue at me and ran out the door first. "See you at brunch Mack!" I groaned and ran out the door after James. I looked back to see if Dylan and Selena had left yet, but somehow, Selena had managed to fall on top of Dylan and she was currently straddling him. I tried holding in my laughter, but I couldn't. Both Dylan and Selena glared at me when they heard me laughing. I clamped my hand over my mouth and used my other hand to wave at them. I didn't wait for them to respond, I just ran off.
