I woke up late and I was going to be late to school again. I grabbed a random shirt that was lying on the floor and changed out of my pajama top. Then I hastily grabbed a pair of ripped jeans from my desk and changed out of my shorts. I put my hair into a messy ponytail without brushing it and slung my backpack over my shoulder. I ran down stairs and grabbed my pair of old black converse shoes on the way out.

I hopped off the deck and pulled out my earphones. I blasted my music on full volume and started walking to school when I felt someone following me. I stopped in my tracks and slowly turned around. I glared at him. It was the idiot I bumped into the other day. " Why the hell are you following me you creep?" I yelled.

He smirked, "Damn, are you going to be this feisty every morning? Because that's hot."

I glared at him, "Why are you back again? I thought I told you that you didn't repay me?" I asked while continuing walking because I had ten minutes before the bell rang and I was probably going to be expelled from school if I was late again.

"I heard what happened yesterday during lunch and I saw you walking just now, so I was just wondering if you are okay?" He asked with a hint of worriedness in his voice.

I frowned at him. "Why wouldn't I be fine?" I stopped walking and faced him. "Actually, I'm perfectly fine, I'm great."

He looked at me surprised and I started walking again. "Really? You're fine?" he asked suspiciously, like I was a criminal or something.

I rolled my eyes. "Yes, I'm fine." I said harshly so that he knew I didn't want to talk to him so he could leave.

He didn't respond, without turning around, I knew he was smirking at me. "You just hate talking to me, don't you?" he asked while laughing. I ignored him. "Did you know that you are now famous at school?" he suddenly asked.

"What?" I asked confused. I tried to understand what he just said and walk at the same time. Did he just say I am famous?

"You are famous." he said again. "As in celeb.."

I cut him off. "I heard what you said, but why? Why am I famous?"

"Because you are the one and only person to ever talk to Madison like that. Do you know how shocking that is?" he asked surprised because I didn't know.

I scoffed and continued until we were in front of the school, he grabbed my wrist before I walked into school. "What?" I asked annoyed. There was probably thirty seconds left before the bell rang. I knew I could make it to class on time if I ran. "Let go of me, I'm late to class." He smirked at me and held my wrist even tighter. I glared at him. I was seconds from hitting him when the bell rang. I groaned. "Seriously?" I snapped at him. I ripped my wrist from his grip and I tried to walk away, but he wrapped his arm around my waist. I froze. He was invading into my senses again. Around him, I could never think right. I was usually really alert, but around him, my walls that I have built up all falls down. "What are you doing?" I screamed. I tried to run away, but he held me tighter. Students whom were late walked past us and looked at us oddly. My cheeks started blushing. I thrashed in his arms. He giggled at me and started walking, I had no choice but to start walking too.

I continued to thrash in his arms while we were walking. "You know cupcake, this would be easier if you would stop moving." I froze, no one calls me cupcake but him. Memories of him, of us, flooded into my brain. The last thing that I ever wanted to think of, she came flooding into my memories. I knew he was smiling because he thought that I actually listened to him, but he didn't know the real reason why I was so quiet.

He didn't let go of me until we were inside a diner. I frowned and looked around. I realized it was the diner that my friends and I always go to. "What are we doing here?" I asked.
