First period ended when I saw I got a text.
"Mackenzie Sanchez, I think you are the only one in this school to have guts to actually do that Madison." -Jason
I stared at my phone screen in shock.
"Does the whole school already knows what happened?" -Mack
I drummed my fingers impatiently on my locker waiting for his text. I wanted to know if the whole school knows what happened already so I can have a heads up. My heart skipped a beat when I felt my phone buzzed.
"Of course cupcake. I don't think I have ever seen Madison this mad before, you are killing her." -Jason
I saw my friends coming over so I sent Jason a short and quick text.
"Well, I did say karma is a bitch." -Mack
I quickly shoved my phone into my pocket and pretended to be opening my locker. I didn't want them to see me texting again since James accused me, a few days ago, of texting my 'boyfriend' too much.
I felt Dylan wrap his arm around my shoulders. I felt him lean into me, he whispered seductively into my ear. "Hey babe." I giggled, not from the tone of his voice, but that his breath tickled my ear.
"Stop!" I said while laughing. I looked over at James and Selena for help, but they were too busy laughing at us. I elbowed Dylan in the ribs. "It's not funny."
James pouted at me. "Aw, is Mack afraid that her boyfriend is going to see this and he will get mad at you?" he teased.
I groaned. "He is NOT my boyfriend, he is just a friend." I had been texting Jason a lot and my friends wouldn't stop annoying me about it.
"He's just a friend." Dylan mimicked. "Then why are you so happy every time you text him?" he interrogated.
I pushed Dylan away from me and pretended to look in my locker to avoid his question. Selena walked over and closed my locker, I quickly moved my hands before she slammed the locker on my hands. "Hey!" I whined. "What are you doing? I need to get my notebook."
She arched her eyebrows at me. "Do you really need your notebook or are you just avoiding our question?" I bit my lower lip and avoided eye contact with them.
James wiggled his eyebrows at me. "See!" he accused. "You're avoiding us."
Dylan narrowed his eyes at me. "Are you dating that guy?" I tried to turn my head and look away, but he firmly placed his fingers under my chin and forced me to look at him. I blinked a few times at him. I was about to make up an excuse when I was saved by the bell. I let out a sigh of relief.
Dylan looked up and glared at the speakers. I smirked at my friends. I moved my head away from Dylan's strong grip. "Well, I have to go to class because I don't want to be late." I smiled sweetly at them. "Bye amigos, see you at lunch." I stuck my tongue out at Dylan and I ran toward the opposite direction before he could do anything.
I walked into English and sat down panting and my cheeks flushed. The teacher walked in when I felt my phone vibrate.
"Wanna do homework together after school today? I don't have football practice." -Jason
I grinned. I was waiting for him to ask if we wanted to do homework together since we haven't hung out in a while.
"Wow, you finally have time out of your busy schedule to hang out with someone." -Mack
Within a second he replied, I discreetly replied to him. Mrs. Wayne wasn't the type of teacher to let students use their phones in class.
"Yes cupcake, you should feel special." -Jason
