"Yoon Sanha!"
The boy lifted his head from the desk as he was rubbing his eyes quietly as Jinyoung approached him with a smile. He directed the boy to sit up so that they can get some fresh air. He also let him know that they are okay, and no one was waiting to harm them. Sanha sighed to himself before gaining his spirit to stand up so that he can follow Jinyoung. Jinyoung was holding a bag of goodies so that they can eat together because he was well-aware that the moment the other guys showed up, they wouldn't have a chance to eat any.
Sitting on the rooftop, Sanha and Jinyoung were eating their candies quietly as the sun brightly shined against their backs. Jinyoung complained quietly, "Why do you always pick the rooftop?"
"No one comes up here to bug us."
Jinyoung shrugged his shoulders as he replied back with a sigh, "I guess so.."
Sanha let out a small laugh as he bit onto his candy quietly. The bitterness of his soul started to make the sweet candy even more sour than it was supposed to be. How long must they survive like this in school? Just because Jinyoung and Sanha are scholarship students with poor backgrounds, it really affects them negatively.
They both left the rooftop together and secretly hid the candy inside Jinyoung's locker. Soon after, they both stopped walking as a whistle interrupted their steps. As if they both expected what to happen, they glanced at each other before they turned his attention towards the group.
"Sanha! Jinyoung! Came out early today."
The leader of the pack, Chan, smirked with excitement as he crossed his arms as Jinyoung bit his lip nervously. Jinyoung looked around quietly as Sanha started to stare at the floor as the other leader of the pack called him out with a sneer, "Hey Sanha, looking good today..must have a date with someone?"
Jaemin continued to sneer as he rolled his eyes as he motioned Sanha to come closer to him. They had no choice but to walk towards the pack as the other members of the pack were awaiting for them. Chan crackled his knuckles as he whispered into both of their ears, "You know what is happening? We're going to play a little game. But, you can't tell anyone, as you know the rules right?"
"So, you're saying you're not aware of Sanha being perhaps bullied by other kids?"
Taehyung questioned the principal as he found it amusing that none of the words that students and teachers were saying actually made sense. It never connected. The principal cleared his throat angrily as he replied back, "They got along fine with one another. Kids always mess around."
Gyuri continued to write notes down as she glanced over at Taehyung before she stood up to thank the principal. Taehyung was caught off guard when she did that as he stared at her confusingly as Gyuri said with a cheerful tone, "We all get that. I thank you for your time today, and we will be in touch for any further questions that we have."
The principal nodded back as Taehyung was basically dragged out of the room by Gyuri as he was very taken aback. As soon as Gyuri closed the door, Taehyung angrily whispered, "What the hell are you doing!?"
"You realize that he's not going to speak anything negative that will contribute to the case."
"Why do you think I was trying to question him?"
Gyuri closed her hands together as she faced the anger-filled Taehyung as she responded, "The more you push someone to speak up, the more closed hearted they will feel. If you give them some space to think and try to act differently than before, it may help change their mind."
"And what if it doesn't!"
"That's something for us to discover later. I just wanted to check something out before we left."
Taehyung scoffed to himself as he watched Gyuri walk down the hallways as she was greeting everyone that walked by her. She was a peculiar case of a human being that was way too excited for anything. He really disliked that fact about her. He followed her soon after as Gyuri disappeared around a corner as she approached the locker room areas.
"We already checked here before."
Gyuri nodded her head in response as she skimmed her way towards each student's locker as she came across one of the suspects in the case. His best friend. She glanced over at Taehyung before walking across the locker rooms and approached another locker, Sanha. They weren't placed together, but rather Jinyoung was next to the junior class president's while Sanha was close to Eunbin.
"If they were really good friends, why weren't they together for the locker selection? If you look at it in a perspective that the scholarship kids were able to place themselves together when they picked their lockers, why would Jinyoung and Sanha separate themselves when it would have been comfortable being close together."
Gyuri continued to mutter under her breathe as Taehyung's face was morphed to a confusing one. She also moved towards the locker that was in between Sanha's and Jinyoung's locker was Jaemin and Chan. "If Jaemin's and Chan's are so close to Jinyoung's and Sanha's, it makes much sense that they purposely picked this spot to further annoy the two students since passing period makes it easier for them to see each other. Jinyoung was not in the same classroom as Sanha so it makes less sense that he wouldn't want to be next to Sanha."
Gyuri rested her back against one of the lockers as she turned to Taehyung, who was blinking and staring at her, as she further added, "Something is oddly fishy between these students. We can't overlook the fact that these small details point to something bigger."
Taehyung shrugged it off as he replied back cruelly, "You're saying nonsense. Students are not that intricate."
"Not unless someone higher is involved."
Gyuri and Taehyung both turned their heads to a new being that was standing close behind them as one of the students stared at them quietly. Gyuri stood back up straightly as Taehyung asked, "Aren't you supposed to be in class. And what do you exactly mean by that?"
The student shrugged his shoulders before he made his way to his own locker as Gyuri watched him closely and quietly. She walked near him and whispered his name, "Cha Junho?"
The said male looked at her for a few seconds before taking out his notebook and slammed it shut. He turned to look at both of the officers before he continued to speak, "I just gave a suggestion since you guys were being too loud. This school is much more secretive than you think it is."
